Just thought I’d get this one started considering the recent news of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child launching in Chicago next fall.
I suspect we can count on tours of Some Like it Hot, Kimberly Akimbo, Shucked, and Sweeney Todd launching some time next season, and of course we have Back to the Future already launching. I also predict a non-equity tour of New York, New York might happen, but that’s just a hunch I have. I don’t think LCT will send out Camelot on tour, but maybe I’m wrong.
Does anyone know if Frozen plans on making any return engagements, particularly to Chicago? I know Moulin Rouge had an itinerary out there that included a return engagement to Chicago, so I hope that happens.

A Beautiful Noise will launch its tour in September 2024 in Providence, RI.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I stg if Broadway in Detroit bungles bringing this in I'm gonna riot. One of my top theatre going moments of this year. I can't wait to see who they cast

I hear Ben and Micaela might rejoin for a Hollywood Pantages stint. Not sure who’s doing the other tour stops though.
Do we know if Almost Famous is touring? They just had that work session I know. But was that to fix and tweak before it tours? Or is it going straight to licensing? If it doesn’t tour in 2024-2025, than I feel like it will have missed its window to do so.

If Girl From the North Country and Mrs. Doubtfire can both tour, I’m not sure why Almost Famous can’t.
Harry Potter is only booked until February of 2025, I don’t think they’re advertising it as an open run.

Which seems to be a new tradition of announcing one big name show in advance of the full season announcement, Broadway Across Canada has announced Lion King will be part of the 24/25 season in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa.

Having The Lion King play in Ottawa presumably at the same time Toronto is doing their second sit-down of The Lion King is certainly interesting. I know there's a distance between Ottawa and Toronto, but still.

I know HP is not an open run, I wonder if the producers though will announce dates after Chicago or wait to seeing what ticket sales are like and whether they can extend, it dates are announced after Chicago, then this wouldn't be possible. I think I read somewhere that HP was going to have a sit down in Chicago, but tepid sales in San Francisco changed this?
There is a regional theatre in the Chicago area doing Frozen in the fall(Paramount in Aurora), so I suspect the Frozen tour will close at the end of its currently last scheduled city in San Jose.
Any other tours that might be wrapping up after this season? Hadestown, Ain’t Too Proud, Jagged Little Pill, or Tina? Any of the latter 3 I feel can easily move non-equity.

For what it's worth, Tours To You is saying that Hadestown, Ain't too Proud, and Tina will all probably go non-equity. That makes sense given how long each has been touring.
The Kite Runner's limited tour also ends this season same with the non-equity Little Women.
