So excited for tonight's ceremonies. I'm already tuned in and ready for the red carpet festivities followed by the awards. Who else is tuning in? Here's where to watch:
Drama Desk Awards Live!
Who is doing these interviews? It's so awkward.
Love that the first person I saw was Kelli!
I want some fun questions for her to ask them though!
These red carpet interviews are really horrifyingly awkward.
I was about to say the same thing. I'd be all over that asking tons of questions and (hopefully) know everyone's name. Can't wait until the actual ceremony, though.
Good lord....this is now the 2nd time she's asked some ridiculous question about the children of the interviewee....when the kid is under 6 months old!
AWFUL

So incredibly awkward! Is this interviewer and intern or something?
It's quite clear she has no idea who any of these people are or what any shows any of them are in. She is asking incredibly bland, generic questions about if people are excited or not, I'm out.
My favorite thing is the awkward lull in between interviews
I really hate when they ask if they have seen other shows… when their shows are at the exact same time as other performances.
Check out Celia, though. Rock that dress.
@promisespromises2 Yeah... they could at least ask what shows they're interested in seeing instead of IF they've seen any.
I don't think it's that bad. It's not great. But not horrible. I do love me some Celia though.
Celia looked like a rock star! Almost reminded me of an Xmen or something. Love her.
is anyone else having a issue with the live feed?, it goes for like 2 mins then buffers
Same here harris.
Side note: just me, but I feel like if you are a GREAT interviewer...you shouldn't have been told who is who and what they're nominated for. Just me?
Red carpet coverage really lends itself to editing and being posted after the fact.
harris, not having that issue.
I now see why Audra is attracted to Will Swenson. Gorgeous and charming.
I'm sure he's a lovely guy, but I thought he came off like a tool.

I agree. I thought he was quite rude tbh.
In fact, most of these people have been assholes to that interviewer. No need for it at all. Just be gracious, even if she is out of her depth. Just be polite and move on.

Is Stephen Trask high?
EDIT: I take it back, he just seemed excited.
Does the interviewer not get that SHE needs the mic too -- or does she have a body mic thats not working well?
