Sooooo flippin' happy for John Douglas Thompson. I've seen that brilliant performance twice now. And not only is he astonishing, but he's the nicest guy...

Maybe they can put the Adele Dazeem contest into effect next week too...

This reminds me...is there a cast album planned for WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I can't even remember the projections in Gentleman's Guide besides the priest's death...

The bees and then the silhouettes in Lady Hyacinth Abroad are a couple others.

MaddieBB2: I was reading your comment, "A tie! Cool!" and read it in Josh Gad's voice. I saw your profile pic of Olaf and was trying to remember where in the movie that line was but then realized that it was from Book of Mormon: "Uganda! Cool!"
I second Benanti's awesomeness.

Wow, I usually dislike kid performers, but she was something else!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

An amazing performance from Sydney Lucas. Made me remember all over again how great she was in FUN HOME when I saw it back in October.
And Benanti can do no wrong in my book. Love her.

Reed Birney's speech was lovely. He is a class act, and so very brilliant. His Charlotte is quite extraordinary.

Her talent and, more importantly, emotional honesty is unbelievable.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Who is this singing? I missed the name because it buffers and I can't really tell.

Sydney Lucas was truly stunning in Fun Home. As givesmevoice said, her emotional honesty onstage is so extraordinary. I don't recall ever seeing another child performer with that amount of depth.
Also, I'm THRILLED for Celia Keenan-Bolger. She was exquisite in Glass Menagerie. I hope this bodes well for her winning next week.

Thanks, OldRedHills. I thought so - but I wasn't 100% sure.
