Jessie's hair reminds me a bit of Adele there. I just love her voice.

It's interesting about Jessie. I loved her in the show, she sang it beautifully, and held the whole thing together. But it was interesting hearing her sing tonight, sans hair and costume( ala Carole). Again she sounded great, and a lot like King. BUT, thats's where i think it ends, based on a very bad book. It's not really the Best Actress in Musical type of role. Again, i love Jessie Mueller, and think she'll have a wonderful career, awardee this week, or not.

I think people are underestimating BEAUTIFUL altogether. I do think Jessie will win the Tony...and there's a strong chance it'll win Best Musical as well.

I think with Gentleman's Guide strong book, score, performances, designs, etc. it will most likely win Best tonight and next Sunday.

I am very excited to see Sutton and Idina this weekend!

Damn these got REAL boring. It's already 2 hours in and we have all the good awards left! The past hour was like completely wasted. The Drama Desks should not be as long as the Tonys!

As brilliant as Audra is, the category drives me CRAZY. She should be nominated for a musical. That should have been Tyne's award.

^^Glad I'm not alone! But I agree with another poster...why wasn't Cherry in there?? She at least belongs among the powerhouse performances of this season.
