Lovely of you to take the helm in my absence from the boards as of late, ljay, to welcome this wonderful piece of theatrical splendor back where it belongs. With that, sentiments remain, as I bestow best wishes to all involved! Ever anxious to venture to the Kerr for myself soon enough! :)
Can we just leave this thread for reviews and responses to the reviews, for once?
That said, I wish nothing but good things for this production! Especially for Ms. Lansbury and Ms. Zeta-Jones.

Hunter Ryan Herdlicka is fine in Night Music. The character is an awkward, overwrought self-righteous prig and that's what he is playing. He scored some strong laughs at several points when I saw the show, including a well-articulated "late - or rather later Henrik Egerman" and a good "it might be instructive to observe". He's enjoyable opposite Ramona Mallory. Given the beating he's been taking on this board, I didn't see what the problem was.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.
Wow! I hadn't heard anything about her "lineage"! How exciting for the family!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
