I'll be a contrarian and predict that this will not sell out during the pre-sale. Great as they are, neither Jackman nor Craig is Paul Newman (who is?) and The Odd Couple had the unique power of recreating the it team at the time combined with a very well-known commodity as a play. So if you don't have an Amex, my guess is you'll still be able to get a ticket.
That being said, I think it will be a difficult ticket by the time it opens, and I doubt there will ever be discount codes or such. So, I'll probably getting mine during the presale to be sure.
(which actually is a really good sign to all you discount hunters, because I have notoriously bad luck in jumping to pay full price on shows that end up having discounts galore -- like "Equus," most recently)
Michael Jackson & Jesus Christ could be in it & no way would I pay that. Mrs R wanted to see it but when she saw the price she said , and I quote , "Are they out of their ******* minds"
In a recession no less. If people have money to waste on it fine. These are some of the same people who would not give a bum on the street the time of day.
I know it's steep but we're gonna try for the $125 orchestra seats for a peformance on my birthday. I so want to be able to brag that I spent my 50th birthday with my husband, Hugh Jackman AND Daniel Craig. That may take away some of the pain of turning half a century old !!!!
