Did you hear if Dolly was for this November/December or more into 2027 opening? I'm trying to schedule to be there for opening.

If Black Swan moves, someone is planning for a big tax write-off. Between the dark story and the strange decisions made in creating this (very professional, yet hard to comprehend the creative decisions), this would be box office disaster.

Does anyone have additional information about the rumored 42nd Street. IIRC there were 60 dancers in the original production and half that in the revival. Given today’s economics it’s hard to imagine half as many of that. Maybe it will surprise me, but a 42nd Street with a dozen dancers feels sad.

Supposedly Privates Lives is eyeing the Booth theater for a limited run.
In the near future Lunt has Warriors, Barrymore has Come From Away (from Paper Mill) for a limited fall run there, St James has (RUMORED) 42nd Street, Dracula is at Music Box Theatre and Hudson has All My Sons

Isn’t Dolly Parton is rewriting the musical since it got mixed reviews?

Private Lives not until the Spring, correct?

It was announced back from last year that Private Lives was indeed going to be part of the 2026-27 Broadway season, which’s slated for fall show for a limited engagement, and it’s looking right at the Booth Theatre.

Is that with Cranston? He just did an interview and it was brought up and it sounded like there were discussions but nothing seemed close to final

Agree with this. I saw it and liked it, but I can't see it doing business on Broadway. Would be a good Off-Broadway transfer

Yes, Cranston is bringing the west end 2025 stage and he’s already eyeing it for Broadway Spring 2027 run, Hudson always LOVES to put the star studded plays at that theater.

One clue to note (and this is by *NO* means iron-clad) is noting if any theatre owners are involved with specific shows as producers. ATG has a massive West End footprint + a long term relationship with Sonia Friedman, so it makes sense that Paddington and potentially Dolly (which ATG is a producer on) would end up in one of their houses.
That also being said, this again isn't 100% the case - James L. Nederlander is one of the lead producers on 860 for one, and though the 'official' pre-Broadway tryout is in an ATG venue in Boston, they don't appear to be producers on the Broadway run of Paranormal Activity - which is also only booking through 1/7/17 at the moment, making the Wilson potentially available in spring.
Something to keep an eye on during speculation season (which I do enjoy :)

It’s going into Barrymore for Spring 2027, there’s usually a spring play at that theater.

ACL2006 said: "LA CAGE isn't selling well at City Center for its two weeks. Plus Brady and Porter don't have good attendance records, so a Broadway run with both would require each to have a standby. And Brady isn't available in the summer due to him taping LET'S MAKE A DEAL. Odds seem very slim it transfers."
I doubt Billy has any more interest in the demands of Broadway. And as for Lincoln Center, word around my UWS neighborhood is that a Shakespeare play is being mounted after Ragtime closes. You heard it here.

In the sense that Sorkin is the American Shakespeare, sure.
