Anyone surprised? Additionally, a national tour is planned.

Actually, I am surprised how far out it is...
I was only surprised by the date. I thought it was previously announced as 10/4
I'm honestly gobsmacked at how long this show lasted, especially when you consider other fare than was of a higher caliber (either having stars or a better framework) lasting shorter lengths of time.
and nobody is surprised. so what's going into the Nederlander next??
Seeing it 9/24.
Glad we seeing it before it goes..Think someone previously said a cast album was being done. Glad it will have a life after Broadway. More and more, musicals that flop on Broadway have a healthy life on the road which makes me happy.
Next for the Nederlander will be a revival of Honeymoon In Vegas.
I saw the show this past Sunday. While the show is far from perfect, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Roxy's Flop Boner is throbbing!! This is called "being predisposed to liking something," which is the opposite of "being predisposed to disliking something," as Mr Roxy was for "Fun Home" and keeps telling everybody he is about "Hamilton."
It is not a puzzlement, it is SOP for the old SOB.
There is no other reason why Roxy is so passionate about this show now, since he doesn't go until next week. If people refuse to see it, it HAS to be good.

So sad this show is closing so soon! I love the show in Chicago and glad I get to see again on 9/27! Hopefully a cast recording will be released.

A shame another one bites the dust so early.

I honestly thought it had closed long ago until the Ads started filling my sidebars yesterday.

How did you get tickets to this? We know you don't like paying for anything so I doubt this is something you'd shell out the cash for.
Clyde, take the thumb out of your ass.
You have no idea re my financial situation so do not offer half baked opinions. This has been heavily discounted since it opened.Try going from 2 paying jobs to 2 people on Social Security and see how you do it wise guy.Broadway now is a luxury.
Next stupid question.
I would imagine Tuck Everlasting will be announced as the next tenant soon.
Tuck was already announced for the Broadhurst.
