If you send the actor/actress an e-mail asking if they will be willing to send you a signed headshot in the mail..should you give them your address or just ask first? I mean maybe some actors prefer to get fanmail..i don't know.
well wen i emailed susan egan 4 an autograph, i asked if i needed to send the address on the email 1st. i did just in case she said yes. i had a reply back from her website manager tho saying that i need 2 follow the instructions of how to request 1.
"also, can anyone just email john lloyd young and ask for a headshot (do you just give him your address)?"
I think anyone can ask, I ask him while he was still a new comer on broadway, but I am sure that he sill would. but I would not ask till may, because right now he is asking for a donation to get one because of BC/EFA.If you did not want to e-mail and ask I geuss you could ask by sending a letter. When I wrote John the and ask if the Jersey Boys had any pictures that they could sign he told me he did not know if they had any picture of all four of them that they could sign. But he told me that I could write the Stage Manager and ask. So I thought to make it easy on them I would just send them a picture in the mail and ask them to autograph it, and they did. I hope that this helps. If you do send one to the theatre and ask, i would send it to the Stage Manager, I would not it to John unless you wrote him by e-mail and told him that you were sending it.

Ok forget every i just said about e-mail, here is what he posted on his blog under F.A.Q.
Q.Can I have an autographed photo or playbill?
A.Yes! Send me a letter at the theatre, and I'd be glad to send you one,
In return, I only ask that you please also send a small donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, which benefits women battling breast cancer. Make a check out to "BC/EFA" (recommended donation $25), include it with your letter, and I'll pass it on to them.

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
I have seen three NY shows, so I have nine autographs. Nothing compared to most of you guys! But, I live in Boston, so it's much harder for me to catch buses to see the shows.
I have Aaron Lohr (SWIWS), Anthony Rapp on RENT Bible (So sweet!), Kingsley Leggs (TCP), Jennifer Laura Thompson, Joey McIntyre and others.

I got the most amazing mail today from Donna Lynne Champlin...
She sent me a headshot of herself with a little note that said...
"Dearest Carole Ann --
May ??? ??? (Sorry, I couldn't make out the words!)
Nice to meet you always!
*insert heart here*
Donna Lynne Champlin"
Sorry if that doesn't look so great...
But then there's the letter on the BACK...
"Dear Carole Ann --
Thank you for your funny letter. I will keep it in my dressing room so that I can read it whenever I'm feeling blue. I've enclosed some pieces of rag with our stage blood on it for you...you asked for "magic" -- haha, right?
All The Best To You dear,

Yeah I am just worried because it has been like 2 and a half weeks. I might email her, but I dont want it to seem like I am being demanding. I just want to make sure it did not get lost becuase that would really suck.
"The hallmark of aristocracy is responsibility. Oh brother, that got me, that did me in!"
Thanks so much. Yeah I really loved the piece and how special it is so I am going to get it as my birthday present. Plus, the money goes to a great cause and now I will have some fun stuff to talk about at the stage door of the O'Neill. :)

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~

I sat center row B in the front Mezz. When I did the stage door, I was right of the door on the edge of the sidewalk, by that truck. I had a Aida souvenir book with me to get signed by Sherie as well. How about you?
Were any of you that girl who had seen the show like 10 times and Yazbek took her email to get her tickets?
