What fun! She's a pretty big name, so does this mean we can expect the Witch and the Baker to also be film stars (just to keep it all balanced and stuff?)
I predict that this will be their only name. She'll probably be very good.
Pretty great choice, I'd say, for going the star route.

Good "audition" for her should a film version ever actually get made...
As much as I love her, I just can't imagine her in the role.
It's the hardest to pull off in the entire show so I'm anxious to see how she does.
I like it.
In her defense, Adams has proved she can be more than just the Cinderella type - her performance in THE FIGHTER was pretty ballsy. I think she's likely more versatile than she's always given credit
Meh. Better have a great Witch or I ain't waiting on line for ten hours.
Oh...I think she'll be delightful! She's got a dark streak in her that was in evidence in PSYCHO BEACH PARTY.
Plus...I kinda like the idea of the Baker's Wife and Cinderally being two sides of the same coin.
I'd really like to see Josh Radnor as the Baker.
I'd really like to see Josh Radnor as the Baker.
Me too, but it's not possible given his shooting schedule.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see it. "If you know what you want then you go and you find it and you GET it." Yeah. Nope. Can't see it.
The line is "get it," actually.
And you obviously didn't see THE FIGHTER. Completely believable as a scrappy, hard-edged, headstrong woman.

Oh, whatever. I've been in a cubicle for four hours doing data entry. My mind is going.
And actually, I did see THE FIGHTER. And thought she was miscast.

Edited my post. You're right, it's "get it".
I think she'd be wonderful as Cinderella. And she may be wonderful as The Baker's Wife if they pair her with the proper Baker. My concern is that she won't be strong enough to the right guy. But if it's Euan as rumor has said, I think she'd be a fine fit.
Though I do think her and Jessi Mueller should switch.
I wasn't trying to be bitchy. "Get it" and "take it" have different connotations and I felt it was a case where accuracy was needed--especially since you emphasized the TAKE.
She was great in The Fighter, and I'll bet she'll be great in this. I agree completely about her versatility.
She is racking up quite a resume, and I really like the diversity of roles.
EDIT: Now just get Catherine Zeta-Jones for the Witch ...

I know you weren't. All is well. I'm in cubicle hell, so I'm being a little snarky. Sorry. You're very right that it changes the meaning.
No worries. We'll agree to disagree on Adams.
