Planning a trip to the city next month, and wanted to know if anyone has entered and won this and knew how easy/difficult the odds of winning are? Apologies if this has already been discussed in a previous thread.
I only know one of my friends who have won this lottery. Seat was in the extreme sides but still a great view for the price! I'd say this is one of the harder lotteries to win compared to the other musicals out there.

Bumping this thread to ask if the lottery or SRO is the best way to get tickets. Or is there some other discount I'm not thinking of? It seems doubtful as the show is selling pretty well.
According to Christy a while back, Anastasia has a rush now. I just asked her if that was true or not

I just won the lottery for tonight, seats are extreme side, row C. Hopefully they'll be ok.

How did you find where your seats were?

Had a problem when I tried to claim tickets online. Got the message that no tickets were available, after I've put in my credit card info and clicked on purchase. Message included the number for telecharge, so I called. They said it went through, gave me a confirmation number and the seat numbers.
I did SRO last Wednesday matinee and thought it was a great view for the price. The mezzanine overhang doesn't really obstruct at all since because of the way the show is designed/staged; the only time something was cut off was Ramin's head in the box seat during the opera scene. And for $35, it's a couple of dollars cheaper than the lottery.

Seems like this is a difficult lottery to win. I've been entering almost every day for several months without any luck. Are other people having the same experience?

I haven't won the lottery either, despite having entered almost every day. Has anyone had luck with this lottery?

Bumping this thread. I've been entering many, many times to try to win this lottery, but have had no luck. I was wondering if anyone has actually won the lottwry, or if SRO is available for this show?

I've entered the Anastasia lottery almost every single day since the show started and haven't won. After many many months of persistence, I've won the lottery for pretty much every other popular show (except Hamilton, since I never really tried).
Hi! For those who've bought SRO tickets, were you only able to buy them when the show was sold out? Hoping to do SRO in a couple weeks when I'm in town.
Also, for those who've entered the lottery and lost, were you given any sort of discount code or anything? Thanks!

Yes, they only sell SRO when the show is sold out, or at least extremely close to selling out. I went a little over two weeks ago for a Saturday matinee, and when I first went to the box office just before noon, they said to come back in like 1.5 hours or so and see if they're sold put then. When I returned at about 1:30, the box office staff had to make a phone call to check, but fortunately, they allowed me to purchase the first SRO ticket for that performance.
I entered the lottery almost every single day, beginning when the show started previews, and never won. I never got a "lottery loser" discount. A couple weeks ago I finally saw the show through TDF.

I have entered this lottery almost every day since previews. I log right on at midnight every night to enter as soon as it opens. This morning I woke up super sick and OF COURSE today I won! What rotten luck!

Oh no! That stinks. Hope you win again.
I feel really badly saying this. I did win this lottery TWICE on a weekend that I could not make it because I had forgotten about a neighborhood garage sale I had signed up for. I didn't realize how difficult it was to win as now I've tried every day for months and nothing. Deservedly so. I deserve that. :/
What time do they notify you if you won?
Someone offered me a complimentary ticket for this evening's performance. I declined. The Real Housewives of New York is airing and I have two episodes of DYNASTY on my dvr that must be watched.

Bumping this thread. Has the lottery gotten easier to win?

I can’t speak to trends, just to personal experience. In about 180 tries, I won 1 time. That spanned last summer through this summer-ish.
So...it’s possible, but maybe not great chances of winning quickly.

I entered my first time for July 11th 2pm and won! Also did that for frozen. Not sure how crazy it is tho. Entered when I was in town in December did not win. Yea tickets are all the way to the side. You can’t see about 5-10% of the shoe but the characters do go to the every sides sometimes. Way better show than I expected and the Dimitry is amazing!
