Why didn't I realize before that Jenna, Adam and Natalie are all scheduled to perform in the chorus of the benefit Pippin concert?
*checks coffers* *dust falls out* *makes sure to find money elsewhere*
Time to put up or shutup about paying to see the other cast members in something they're performing.
Hopefully they'll have tickets I can actually afford. And it has Billy Porter. Sweet!

Um, this suck the big wienie.
I wake up to find that interview with Damon AND that the Barees site will be closed? Methinks I should just crawl back into bed.
*big hugs to Damon and co.*

If we come to NY with Big Voice, the one thing I want to do is a staged reading of our first musical THE LAST SESSION. There is a role in this show for a boy, 20-25, with a soaring non-legit tenor voice. Which of the BARE cast members would fit this description? He needs to be innocent and sweet.

What is a non-legit tenor voice? (I know you mean Buddy, I'm just wondering what the technical term means?)

Nah, stop in Arizona and pick me up and we can go a state over and see! :)
I wanna come too!
This is going to be some flight. Trisky, we have to find an airline that will stop in Texas and Arizona before heading over to California. Get cracking on that!
I've not see Ann E. Wrecksick but I have seen a staged reading of Plop, which is about a boy band and is very reminiscent of Bare. Once again, great music. As in any first reading, the book needed some work but Damon is like a little music machine. He will be back.
Plop sounds absolutely hysterical if the one song Jenna performed from it is any indication. I would definitely love to see a reading of it someday even if it means traveling to California to do it! :)
Is it possible for all of this to happen at the same really? Cause I feel like Im dreaming. Im going to cry, watch d.creek, and nap. worst week ever.
What's worse is that it all happened in one night! Oy. You go watch D. Creek, I'll go watch Roswell.
2day is not a happy camper.
I know why baby and I'm sorry.
We'll talk about it tonight or tomorrow. :/
Why didn't I realize before that Jenna, Adam and Natalie are all scheduled to perform in the chorus of the benefit Pippin concert?
We are so going to this! Start saving now! :)

I join in that hug Star. How are you feeling?

OMG Steve, that would be AMAZING! I didn't have the pleasure of seeing The Last Session while it was running so this would be such a treat! Please keep us informed about that!
As for that role, I do know that 2Day4U sings... :)

I was really sorry to hear the news too. I was lucky enough to see it in April. I just e-mailed Damon to wish him luck on his other projects. When he and I met in NYC and chatted, I could tell how passionate he is about BARE. It's a really good show. Hopefully he will be able to record the entire show as planned.

Since my knowledge of music theory goes about as far as knowing such a thing exists, I have no idea what a non-legit tenor voice means. Do you have any examples of someone who has one? I'm sure any of the boys in Bare could play innocent and sweet though (obviously, one in particular does it really, really, really well, but I have no idea what kind of voice he has).
Trisky, we have to find an airline that will stop in Texas and Arizona before heading over to California. Get cracking on that!
Why am I always the one who has to make the plans!? I say we rent a bus and just criss-cross the country picking people up along the way.
We are so going to this! Start saving now! :)
Since the tickets go on sale at the end of this month, I should probably have precisely $1.08 saved by then!
Yay, we get to see other Bare cast members sing (for once)!

"Non-legit" means someone who sings in a populist rock style as opposed to an operatic style. The song he would sing is "Going It Alone" which needs a very tender croony style as opposed to a full chesty projectile technique.

Only if you bring urinecakes to the party.

Hmmm... in the case, I would think John's voice would be more suited to the song. If you go to his site and listen to his clip from Hairspray (and also his own song) it's a rather tender, croony style.

Add Vermont to the bus stop list!
Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

Hate to break it to ya..but if you saw Bare live you'd know John is NO tenor..he can barely sing an F. Michael can be 'pop" but it's a prettier more lyrical pop sound. He def has the range.

Like I said, I have no idea what being a tenor means, I was just going by the croony, tender part. As for being able to barely sing an F, since I can't tell the difference between A, B, C, D, E, F, G or any other letter in the alphabet when it comes to singing, it doesn't much matter to me as long as they sound pleasing to my ear!
Michael can be 'pop" but it's a prettier more lyrical pop sound. He def has the range.
I just think Michael sounds more comfortable in non pop stuff (well, in the sense that I'm thinking of, not necessarily what you're saying, now that I think about it).

Wow, is my cute little state forgotten that easily?
Trisky I do think you have a point about Damon's interview bringing a little closure to the situation! I'm glad you guys had a good time out last night but it was hell reading this without you guys to lean on!
