If that's the highlight of this show they've got a looong walk ahead of them on Broadway. Hot cast tho.

Fun fact: Christian Probst who is in the ensemble is the son of Julie Piekarski from season 1 of Facts of Life
My biggest issue with the Chicago production is that the show didn't seem to know who Betty Boop is. The kid describes her like she's Wonder Woman. Others discuss her like Taylor Swift or Barbie. Two conversations in the second act suggest her cartoons are sexist because she's always being "chased." And interesting idea that the rest of the show ignores.
I mean the plot is a little iffy to begin with. She's a cartoon transported to modern day and then has a love interest.... so is he dating a cartoon? Is she a real person? I thought the set was also kind of lackluster. But I really liked the score.
I didn't mind the cartoon in the real-world stuff as much since it's lifted from Disney's Enchanted.
The in-person box office will open next Tuesday the 11th at 10 AM with a ribbon-cutting, giveaways, and select $50 tickets for previews.

Looks like a cast album will be coming soon based on the Boop Instagram account story - https://www.instagram.com/stories/boopthemusical/
Watch the Boop cast album get released before Death Becomes Her and Maybe Happy Ending which were both recorded weeks (months?) prior.
