There is no possibility of it coming back, but it does no one harm to start at threat (even, yes, another thread, there have been several) asking the question. Those not interested in the subject are free not to look at the thread nor comment about it. Clearly, Beetlejuice had some passionate support. They won't stop loving the show and wanting it to return just because you are "tired" of the topic.

Thanks Joe! I just know what I've heard from the stars of the show but I'm sure you know more. I'm sorry it upsets you so much but you don't have to see it when it comes back. You can just ignore it. It is ok to just not say anything you know.

Who are they? Who specifically are you referring to besides - they.......them............those people?

More movement towards the confirmation of a possible return to Broadway.
I don't know where she came from, but I follow Ayanna Prescod on Twitter, and she seems to be today's Hedda Hopper.
Well, we thought this was dead in true Beetlejuice fashion, but this news absolutely stupefies me. A venue change seemed to have been much more possible before COVID hit.

I don’t have any vested interest in this show so I’m not trying to specifically nay-say, but the reply on here saying the same things as that article was written 8/14. So isn’t there a possibility that the blog’s “hot tip” was actually the post here from three days ago? Could not be the case. Maybe, against all odds and reason, it’s true. But the info from the post is exactly the same. To me that’s a 50/50 chance that they either both heard the same thing from someone else (whether that’s true or not, we still don’t know) or that the 8/17 article was written based on the 8/14 comment here. One of those chicken/egg situations where all sources seem to link back to all the same things with no TRUE source.
I have no inside info, I know of no deals being made. But I’ll say this: a show that’s been closed for over a year, with no sit-downs and no tour, does NOT usually continue to make, sell and promote new merchandise.

With respect, which is it? We've heard reports before that Beetlejuice "is trying" or "wants" to come back. And unlike most people, I actually believe these rumors - which is to say that I believe the producers are "trying" to bring it back, the same way every musical that plays out of town is "aiming for Broadway." Doesn't mean it will happen, but I'm sure it's something they'd like to do if they could.
But if they already have a theatre, as you claim, then there's not much "try" about it. That would be a pretty done deal!

It’s not like these are newbie producers. Isn’t it Warner bros? I’m sure they could bring it back if they wanted to. But I think they’re probably seeing what’s available. Who knows what will be open in the spring.

I don't believe this will happen.

I hope this becomes a reality
Still don't see it happening. They should just focus on launching the tour next year.
The tour would bleed money or be very scaled down, which would be a shame since at least 50% of what it decent in this show is the design elements.
Any word on how the show is doing in Korea?
The current rumor that I’ve heard from those “in the know” is that the goal is to make a limited return engagement with the intention of filming (a la Waitress this fall).

I have no doubt that the tour will be scaled down. I also expect minor edits to the script to accommodate changes for staging and amateur licensing.

I have heard the filming rumor as well for HBO MAX

Alex Brightman’s official Twitter just tweeted about it: https://twitter.com/alexbupdates/status/1428009419808333833?s=21
I’d say that pretty much confirms that it’s happening.
Sometimes the underdog wins… but only when the underdog is also a multinational corporation.

It’s run by his management team and officially sanctioned by him. So while it’s not “his Twitter” it’s the closest thing he has to one.

Fair enough. I wasn't meaning to say that I don't think it's happening, because I do. I was just clarifying.
Also, here's the clickable link:
Alex Brightman (News & Updates) on Twitter: "Huh. Well THAT would be cool. :)" / Twitter
I don't see how it confirms anything....."interesting" could mean this is the first he's hearing of that rumor. I'd imagine he'd have been the first person (actor wise) they would have reached out to. (Had he announced leaving before the show announced closing?)

How does that tweet confirm anything? Because he says it would be cool if the show came back? Pretty sure every start of a Broadway show that has closed would say that.

According to a Deux Moi tip, Beetlejuice is set to return as a limited engagement in the spring at the Marquis Theatre and be filmed (then released) onto HBO Max. And according to the person, the original cast will be returning.
