To facilitate this transition, our system will be offline starting this Sunday, June 14 at 9 p.m. until we go live. During this period, you will not be able to log in or purchase tickets. This email from TDF came in Friday 6/12:
Dear Melissa,
We have an updated timeline for TDF's new membership and ticketing platform. We expect to launch on Monday, June 15 in the afternoon. To facilitate this transition, our system will be offline starting this Sunday, June 14 at 9 p.m. until we go live. During this period, you will not be able to log in or purchase tickets. You will receive an email once we're up and running.
Our dedicated FAQ page has answers to the questions we anticipate. While your account and membership details will transfer automatically, you will be prompted to set a new password the first time you log in to the new system. If you run into any issues, please contact our Customer Experience team at customerservice@tdf.org.
We will be in touch on Monday once we have launched! Thanks for your patience as we navigate this transition together.
Warm regards,
TDF Customer Experience

Just an update: as of 7:30pm, they are not back online

I contacted TDF that getting a new password wasnt working either, and was told that they have run into "roadblocks"--and should be running "soon.". ONCE IT IS LIVE, (we) will receive an email from (them) letting us know that passwords can be rest.

Now estimated to be back online tomorrow by Noon.
Having survived tech platform migrations, I don't envy anyone over at TDF! This process has seemed particularly fraught with it being continually pushed back.

The new site is such a huge step backwards. It's so much less information-dense than before. The results aren't sortable, and they're not even alphabetized by default. You used to be able to see all results on one page, but now you have to click through every page manually. And on mobile, the page controls are missing entirely, so you're stuck only seeing the first 20 results in the arbitrary order they're listed in! You can't filter to newly-posted listings.
You can no longer open shows in a new tab. Individual show pages no longer list all performances on offer at a glance - you have to scroll through a form dropdown. Who asked for this???

Wow the new site is utterly horrible.
Shows are not listed alphabetical and there is no way to sort them that way. They are just randomly listed.
Clicking to view a show removes any filters, you have to constantly keep selecting Broadway every time you click anything.
Each show listing has a huge square space that takes up so much screen real estate, so instead of scrolling down a list of all shows you can only see 3-4 images at a time.
Shows no longer display the prices or dates until you click a drop down menu to view available dates and click on one.
Really I’m impressed by just how horrible this “update” is. I’m not sure there is a single positive I’m seeing. The site user to be super user-friendly and now it’s a complete confusing mess.

What fresh hell happened here?
I wanna give the benefit of the doubt because this is probably not how it was intended to launch, and the people were demanding its return…but I wasn’t expecting this travesty

Is this new site a very late April Fools joke? It looks like it was made in 1999. Not at all intuitive or easily navigated. Yikes.

A reverse BWW situation. A site that worked perfectly that someone just had to tinker with versus a website built on such old architecture that it attributes posts to the wrong posters that we are begging them to fix that instead we get fantasy football.

I sure can't!"
You need to click the forgot password link and reset your password.

You have to create a new password to log in for the first time on the updated site. It's working fine for me but I do agree it's a much clunkier layout than it was previously.

I did that but couldnt get them to send me a link to reset, checking spam folders and everything. Friend has the same issue so hopefully just something that's still being worked out.

There's definitely glitchiness happening with sorting, which will hopefully be resolved quickly.
I don't find the main page layout too bad aside from that. Hopefully someday you can click the logo instead of just the title, and that "open in a new tab" will be possible.
On the performance page, the actual ticket-buying info is getting lost on desktop but is clearer on mobile (it comes directly below the show logo and before the show copy).

I wonder if they did any interviews with actual users in their requirements gathering or at any point in the process. They could have figured out they were destroying functionality users want. The delayed and uncertain timeline was an indication that they weren't following good software engineering practices. But I didn't expect it to be this much of a mess.

This is a mess. Pretty much unusable. I can’t get the filters to work and although there are 72 offers I can only see 20. The search feature is not working. Hopefully they’ll get it together soon.
