Oh thank god, someone else who actually knows how to link to a tweet around here.
Kevin Clay is back from the European tour. I wonder if he's next.
I noticed on Instagram Nic Rouleau and Brian Sears were both back in the show

Zzzzzzz
Here’s the instagram post I mentioned earlier. Nic said on his story he’s only on through Friday. Anyone know what’s up with Kevin and Cody? Is it Covid?
Kevin was out on paternity leave maybe?
Kevin was out on paternity leave when Kyle Selig filled in, Nic Rouleau was supposed to be covering but he got injured.
It definitely seems like a lot of the cast has Covid as I've seen a few posting about it, so the fill in's are very much Covid related.
2 months late mentioning this, but PJ Adzima took over as Elder McKinley in September.
I've never seen BOM and am thinking of going. I've also never listened to the music and have almost no knowledge of the plot. How is the show/cast lately? My main concern is if it feels tired or the cast 'phoning it in', as happens sometimes with long running shows.
Also - any recommendation on getting the best cheap seats? Lotto, rush, promo code?

Saw it a few months ago. Cast is great but a lot of the laughs have gone.

Just curious, why do you say a lot of the laughs are gone?

Took my dad to see this as a Christmas present. We saw it in January (Saturday matinee). We both loved it!
My dad is not a musical fan at all but is a big fan of South Park. He loved it and thought the 2 leading actors at our performance were good.

I have seen BOM several times. Two male leads they have right now are not so good (just my own pov), especially Cody.
I would love to see new casts for both Price and Cunningham.
Cody's been with Book of Mormon for ten years now. He was a funny Elder Cunningham when I revisited the show post-COVID, but maybe it's time to move on?

As someone who revisited this years ago, I think the shock value of all the jokes has aged as well as most episodes of South Park. Yeah, some people will find it amusing but the culture has pushed the envelope so far down the road that The Book of Mormon might seem a bit twee by comparison.
Also, when I saw it last year, I saw Nic Rouleau lip syncing during the ensemble numbers he was in (including the finale) and I was definitely NOT pleased, especially since it was so brazen.
Long-time Nabalungi actress, Kim Exum, played her final performance yesterday as she prepares to open A Wonderful World this November. She had been with the company since August of 2018 after previously covering for Nikki Renee Daniel’s maternity leave from 2016-2017 and leading the second national tour in 2017-2018. Congrats to Kim on an extraordinary run!
You must catch the hottest swing Andrew Nelin!!! He is not only Broadway's newest sensation, but you can't take your eyes off the cutest mormon ever!!!

Who's the new Nabalungi?
IMO, they could use a fresh Elder Cunningham and Elder Price.

I’d be so curious to hear how many of those performances Lewis Cleale has done.

Three OGs are left. Cleale, John Eric Parker and Graham Bowen(swing/dance captain). All three have taken hiatuses for other projects/shows.
I’m old enough to remember when they would replace the two leads with a new duo every year. It seems like ever since the show came back from the pandemic they’ve been actively against replacement casting. Curious if this is a directive from management/the producers or the creatives. I could see it being Matt and Trey have completely checked out from the show and are not signing off on new auditioners.

I really want to see this show again but the current Cunningham is insufferable to me (how long has Cody been in the show?) Current Elder Price is also mediocre
