Wow that’s a real drop at Woods.
I think the attendance percentage highlights in Rob’s post are not accurate. From a previous week maybe?
Yay for Julie Benko holding her own!!! Funny Girl still in the million dollar club this past week while Lea was out.
Another $2.9 million for Music Man. Has that show recouped yet?
At 1.1 million, ITW is still making money.

They really have to drop the ITW prices because 300 bux for a decent seat during the week ain't the move.

Where are you seeing a drop? The chart I'm looking at shows a modest increase ($55,000) and about a 2.5% increase in capacity. Sure it's down from the Bareilles weeks, but still very healthy and over $1M.

Huh? They’re still over the $1mil mark and their attendance is up 2% over last week. It’s a drop from before this cast started performances, sure, but it’s still doing pretty damn well. Their attendance will only get better as the holidays approach as well.
I Believe the link was originally taking us to last week’s grosses.
Nice to see COME FROM AWAY is closing out their final weeks to sold-out houses.
MJ continues to surprise me.

I'm not too surprised by MJ. The song sequences are incredibly well done. The book scenes in between are filler, but they're almost needed to recover from the thrilling energy of the songs. And, it is so loud that it doesn't matter if people near you yell or sing along because you won't be able to hear them.
I won’t be surprised if Hadestown, Beetlejuice, and A Strange Loop all close in January, the way they’ve been heading for a while now.
Not to mention a few forthcoming musicals with humbling ticket sales thus far.
If you look at the seating charts in the days and weeks ahead for Into the Woods, it does look like it's not necessarily going to be the smoothest sailing.

Unfortunately I have anecdotal evidence that directly refutes that theory, courtesy of a drunk a-hole sitting in front of me.

Where is Music Man? It performed last week- is this the first time Hamilton grossed under $2mil ?
The ignorance and surprise regarding MJ's success is incredibly amusing and always will be.

choreography matters - MJ had one of the best
I had a good feeling from the start that MJ would be a guaranteed money-maker (like it or not). No shockers for me.
It’s in great shape in NY and will sell like hotcakes on tour starting next year.

No noticeable bump in grosses at Hadestown even though last week was Lillias White's first week as Hermes. Not a great sign.

I've seen alot of references on this board to Hadestown being likely to close in the next few months because its been having financial problems. I'll admit I don't know much about the business side of Broadway all that well, but Hadestown has generally been playing to 90%+ capacity. I know there is the issue of papering, but it looks like their gross has been hanging steady. I may be wrong but I believe its repaid its initial investment. I wouldn't think it has (relatively) too high a cost to run. So why are people thinking its end is near? I'm not disagreeing, just asking for explination.

I think all three are doing okay. Nothing great, but they're all breaking even at least. ASL has a low weekly nut and was playing to almost sold-out houses this week. Beetlejuice was slightly scaled down for their return and will likely do well in the weeks around Halloween. Hadestown has got to be expensive to run, so that may be the one the most in danger.

Thanks ljay, you’re right, I just clicked again and saw the fresh numbers.

Don't the grosses this week have the BOGO from the Broadway Week promo? Could be why not much change in gross.
I do think people are forgetting these grosses are reflective of Broadway Week sales and they fact that some of these shows are pulling in these numbers when the prices are literally half off is quite a feat.
I was super worried that ASL’s would’ve gone down with the Broadway Week sales (especially with balcony seats being $25 apiece), but it seems to be back on an upswing after a middling August and I love to see it!
