According to NY Post critic Johnny Oleksinski, "Evita" is going to the Winter Garden, preceded by another Jamie Lloyd production, "Much Ado.....," while "Paddington" is heading for the Hirschfeld.
I hear DOLLY has the August Wilson and GALILEO the St. James.
The latter was supposed to open at the Shubert this spring, but HELL'S KITCHEN threw a wrench in those plans by keeping their show open a bit past January.
(GALILEO is DOA either way, though, if out-of-town reviews are to be trusted.)

But do we know what’s going into the Shubert after Hell’s Kitchen leaves and if possible could it open before this current Tony season cut-off or would it have to be next season?
I actually heard that CRAZY RICH ASIANS was taking the St. James
Also throw Paranormal Activity into the mix - one post on a DC review thread I was part of mentioned it was coming in around the same time that Mirvish put up they'd be hosting a tour stop on social, then quickly took it down. (Toronto is close enough to NY that I could see them pulling regional rights.) Considering the great reviews / word of mouth / the commercial producers attached, I could def see it - just have no idea where, as the show IMO has more impact the more intimate the venue is. I don't see Buena Vista slowing down, but a Schoenfeld / Music Box / Booth would be sorta ideal I think.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is eyeing a limited run at the Booth in the fall, but it could also take the Longacre assuming TWO STRANGERS closes in the summer.

Crazy Rich Asians has no current plans for a production. They are still very much in development. It is not taking the St. James this fall.

haven’t heard anything about Fiddler but that would be nice. It’s been less than 10 years since the last Bway revival so that would be surprising
The Heart had a web series and presented at Broadway Con. I suspect they’re just waiting for a theatre too.

I remember Fiddler was rumored to come in this spring at one point.

It’s been even less years since the Yiddish production was off broadway. But this new production has so much buzz, it might be worth taking to New York. It also feels pretty timely.
could it be possible Christopher Ashley is taking The Heart to Roundabout?

There have been so many Fiddler productions in New York over the years. I personally never need to see it again. I don’t know much about this production though it seems to have buzz. Has anyone on here seen it? Given the last British Fidler (not to mention Cabaret) I worry about the erasure of Jews and Jewishness from British productions of Broadway musicals. And that in itself makes the show timely in a negative and unintended way.

Paddington sounds great. Dolly was panned creatively - no?

"I have a feeling Paddington will be the next big Broadway show.

Evita at the Winter Garden? That's one of the worst places (if they are doing the outdoor balcony scene) from a traffic control standpoint. Admittedly, the image of her standing above the huge billboard with "Evita" written on it is perfect but that's going to be mess traffic-wise.

They probably won’t close the street—the opposite of Broadway has a plaza where people could stand plus the side walk is actually pretty wide in that area

Can Paranormal Activity fit into the Booth ??

I certainly think so. The stage is tall enough and wide enough IMO and it's (an objectively gorgeous) unit set of four rooms over two-stories. It'd be a luxury get for the show if they landed that theater as I could totally see even the further back of the Mezz getting jolted by the illusions. Hoping that it happens!
