It is a limited run through February 5th, and I would be truly shocked if it lasts even that long. In the unlikely event that it plays through its announced run, they should still be able to get a spring show into the JEJ Theatre by the Tony cutoff.

Good night and good luck also needs a home

Smash still needs a theatre. The Motive and the Cue was also eyeing a transfer as well.

Smash has the Imperial and they’re just waiting for Elephants to announce their closing date, which should happen by the end of the month.

Come to think of it, what house is Sugar Daddy expected to take?

I would bet good money that there will be significantly more than just those three available in the Spring. Circle in the Square is also free for starters. There are also three shows from last season I'd argue are near-guaranteed to close. I think there may be a few surprises from some longer-running stuff as well. They're better equipped to weather a storm, of course. But, there are some very expensive-to-run shows that I doubt are very profitable any more.

The same one as My Son's a Queer, Nerds, Rebecca, and Room

If mincemeat isn’t going into the Booth, then I’m thinking it’s going into the Golden, if it is indeed coming in this season.

The Music Box, Belasco should be open for spring too. Will Oh, Mary extend at the Lyceum?

I think Oh, Mary will extended. Lyceum is not a top-tier theatre. The balcony is awful

Golden - Operation Mincemeat
Leaves
Jones
Booth
Circle (rumored to be Groff’s Bobby Darin show)
Winter Garden ? (rumored to be Good Night)
Music Box ? (Rumored to be Motive)

Glenglarry Glen Ross, Midnight and Dorian needing theaters + any other closures/new shows to be announced or rumored.

With the recent announcements, we now have a pretty filled up spring season.
By my count, only Glengarry Glenn Ross needs a house of the officially announced shows.
With rumored to be waiting in the wings -
Ragtime (Palace)
Dead Outlaw
The Motive and The Cue

Is there any substance to the RAGTIME/Palace rumor outside of the Sweaty Oracle? Putting RAGTIME -- with no stars & 28 piece orchestra -- in a house of that size feels like a disaster in the making. Scale it down like PARADE & stick it in a playhouse.

They'll probably scale down the orchestra a bit. I think the goal is probably aiming for Tony Awards and could give Sunset some strong competition. Odds are it'll only run through the end of 2025.

They should be so lucky to last 7-9 months through the end of 2025.
SUNSET feels like the one to beat at this point in the season, and imho, the production of RAGTIME on display at City Center would not unseat it.

It will run until sometime in August.

Rumors were that The Motivation and the Cue was aiming for the Music Box, and we know now that isn't the case, but could it possibly be aiming for the fall as Dorian is only scheduled into June?
