Britney Coleman is the cover for Bobbie and Anisha Nagarajan is the cover for Joanne. I'm pretty surprised they didn't get standbys for both roles. I can't imagine a 35 year old Joanne.
I adored this in London and can't wait to hear how it turns out! The artwork is perfect. It's giving me Fleabag-but-glamorous vibes. In London the show was pulling in audiences who didn't normally catch musicals and I can see that happening with this.
Another Hundred People with dating apps is genius! There was already a moment before You Could Drive a Person Crazy when Bobbie is saying 'I mean I meet men all the time' while she's swiping left on her phone. And 'another hundred people just got off of the train...' I got chills thinking about it.
Hamilfan2 said: "For anyone who saw it in London how obstructed would you expect the obstructed view to be? Is this show largely staged to the center or is there a lot going on on the sides?"
There were times when they used the whole stage, but that was mostly in bigger scenes when a lot of people were onstage at once. I can't think of many important moments that happened on the sides at all. If the set concept is the same as London, then by design the sets themselves are all in boxes surrounded by empty space on the sides. (I'm not sure what Broadway restricted views are like, but if you might miss the very front of the stage like in some West End theatres that would be a bigger problem.)

But I feel like $60 for partial view means it can’t be that bad? "
I got only of the $59 partial view for March (no fees on TodayTix currently).
My friend somehow got us $5 tickets to a matinee in June with a discount code. It was SPECIFICALLY for one performance and had to be a glitch but our tickets weren’t cancelled. I couldn’t wait that long to see it though lol
