I overheard one of the producers talking at a Tony party saying that the new replacements had done the show before so they already had the costumes and they didn't need that much rehearsal but unfortunately I didn't hear them mention any specific names.

If it’s indeed folks who have done this production before, that doesn’t leave a ton of options and certainly none, save Redmayne, that will be the box office jolt this production needs.

Considering no one previously in the show will save the show, I want to throw Layton Williams' name in the ring. He's hot off his Olivier win for Titanique, he has numerous TV credits, he was runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing, and he was a Billy. He deserves a chance to be stateside.

I mean... none of those are actually in the US tho. Mason at least has been in a Netflix show that has a new season coming out (despite its unfortunate connections to its author) and a few other TV gigs as well.

That's exactly how they come across. It's obnoxious. It's like the only reason that they comment is to brag about the fact that they know something that they're not going to tell you.

Considering they are in town for “The Pansy Craze” at Audible Minetta Lane, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were simultaneously gearing up to take over.

However, with roughly a month before Orville and Eva leave (if they are indeed leaving), they need to gin up some buzz. The other replacements had 2-3 months of lead time and I have a feeling that the show, already struggling, doesn’t have a new cast in place.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they asked and got Eva to extend since 3.5 months is a short run for this production

For a cast that wasn’t supposed to be Porter and Wallace they sure do look exactly like Porter and Wallace.

It kind of just seems like you got egg on your face and you're pretending that, no, this is just how real chefs make an omelette. 

Considering you often present yourself as somebody who has the inside scoop, telling everybody you were just trolling is kind of a weird move.

What kinda sucks is that the show progressively got better with every replacement, like the west end production. 

The word of mouth that went about Adam and Auli’i was an absolute godsend, bringing tons of people to the show who wouldn’t have seen the show before. Plus, those two were one of the best emcee and sally pairings I’ve ever seen.

Orville peck is Orville peck, the man is too sexy I cannot say anything else for my own good without ending up on at least three government watchlists. Eva is a deep and passionate sally, Sally isn’t a “singer” but Eva sure can make you believe.

Ending with Billie porter is just letting this show crash and die. I mean, I’d rather see a plank of wood play the emcee. There could have been one last big stuntcast to make *SOME* money back, but we’re start seeing half empty houses with these two. I love Marisha, she a damn menace as sally but I cannot see this selling at all.

Gerard way and Billie Joe were right there. That would’ve made money.

i hate this is the end for the show. A slow and decrepit death. It had its problems, but i loved this show, but this.

this is just ****ing sad.
