Almost everybody said COSETTE... now think of Cosette played by an girl who is so fake, a complete slut, slides all the notes, and thinks she is just so terrific... now you have the most annoying Cosette ever, right? Yea, that's the girl playing Cosette at my school.
Magic8ball's quote: "Most of the characters from "Les Mis" can be godawful when played by the wrong people (which, for some reason, seems to happen A LOT with this show...)"
Well said... I love Eponine, but she is SOOO whiney. She just whines and whines... but I did love Lea Salonga as Eponine. I loved the 10th anniversary... but take 1/25 of that and you don't even have close to as bad as my school is.
EVERY PART OF LES MIS AT MY SCHOOL IS SUB PAR.
I rant a lot about this, sorry ~Kangaroo

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
i never liked mr mushnik from little shop. He always annoyed me.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

THANK YOU juliet! As I was reading this, the first and almost only character that came to mind was Carlotta. Not only does she have the most annoying voice (I know its a character trait, but an awful one), shes a complete b!tch! Christine annoys me sometimes too...only sometimes though

I must offer an apology. I said Rocky Horror Picture Show, when I meant "Little Shop Of Horrors." I dislike the singing Plant in "Little Shop of Horrors." Sorry about that.
Ooooh yeah, Alexi Darling really pisses me off...and Mark's mom for some reason. I think though, of every Broadway character I know, the character that pisses me off the most is Christmas Eve from Avenue Q- sorry, love the show but that voice!!! Also, Cosette and Morrible from Wicked, as well as anything having to do with the Producers...and Audrey from Little Shop- or maybe it was just the character..

I don't care for Hamlet either. He, of course, is not a bad character but he has never been that interesting to me. Speaking of Shakespeare. I hope Vin Diesal one day will try Othello on broadway.
Cosette - Les Miserables Sara Brown - Guys and Dolls Annie - Annie
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
thelma von tussel from hair spray Christmas Eve from Ave Q Cosette from Les Miz Annie from Annie Joanne from Rent Miss Paradice from BKLYN...this could be cuz i went to the show and got autographs and she was a bitch about them...but whatever...it made me hate the character
ok - I know he's not a broadway character - but I cannot abide George Costanza from Seinfeld - what a mensch...he makes me want to kill him.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"

Cosette and Marius from Les Miz...I just can't stand them. Or Christine and Raoul (of course, I do go out of my way to defend La Carlotta. She *is* my fave PotO character. But then, that's my opinion. Everyone's entitled to their own)
And Lumiere and Cogsworth in B&tB. Gah. LOVE them in the film, HATED them onstage. The only two people worthy of pulling them off- the late Jerry Orbach and David Odgen Stiers
"During this performance, please feel free to let your cell phones and pagers ring willy-nilly. However, do remember that there are heavily-armed knights on stage and you might well be dragged up and impaled."
(Pre-curtain announcement at the new Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot)
baddad...oops - I always thought it meant a kind of an annoying nerdy character - and George is definitely THAT.
