Are there any characters is musicals of plays that you LOATHE? I don't really hate anyone too much, but Alexi Darling kind of annoys me. And Benny in the beginning.
You hate Sir Evelyn? Wow. He's probably my favorite character in the show. "Gypsy in Me" is great.
Anyway, characters that I hate would be...
-Morrible from "Wicked" -Rick from "Bat Boy" -The Engineer from "Miss Saigon" -Most of the characters from "Les Mis" can be godawful when played by the wrong people (which, for some reason, seems to happen A LOT with this show...) -Harold Hill and Marian from "The Music Man" -Maureen from "Rent" can be downright annoying when played by the wrong actress... although I think that I blame that more on the material than the performance most of the time
"Goodness is rewarded. Hope is guaranteed. Laughter builds strong bones. Right will intercede. Things you've said I often find I need, indeed. I see the world through your eyes. What's black and white is colorized. The knowledge you most dearly prized I'm eager to employ. You said that life has infinite joys."
Alexi darling in Rent The Beadle and Pirrelli in Sweeney Todd just annoys me
<------ Me and my friends with patti Lupone at my friends afterparty for her concert with audra mcdonald during the summer of 2007.
"I am sorry but it is an unjust world and virtue is only triumphant in theatricle performances" The Mikado
Ah, yes. I forgot Pirelli. He is a very loathesome character.

Ugh, the Engineer in Miss Saigon. Cosette's pretty annoying, too. Madame Morrible, yuck. I don't even see how she can be called a character. I used to hate Benny in Rent, but now I kind of sympathize with him. There are probably others. I can't think of any right now.
ABSOLUTELY Cosette, especially in the novel. She's so... empty. You'd think they could've worked on her a little more, since she's the focus of so much. Eponine is kind of irritating, too, though. *twitch*
