As Nick?
Single tickets are on sale and they still don’t have a cast announced? Should we not expect any major names for this one?

ART's website is experiencing high web traffic right now.
thank you for the reminder about tickets going on sale today. Looks like the system crashed as I have been trying for 20 min or so to get logged in.
Interesting note about no casting word just yet
Nor can you get through on the phone lines. I had to wait over ten minutes just to leave a message. No option just to wait in a phone cue.
Well, that was exhausting. Miraculously, I made it through all the error pages and was able to get a $35 ticket for my preferred date before they added the queue.

Sheesh. Been trying since noon, now I'm in the queue with more than an hour wait?! Kind of messed up, ART. (yes, I realize many other in the same boat....but this is pretty ridiculous.)
Currently in the queue. I had an easier time getting Springsteen tickets at the St. James.
Got my tickets after waiting an hour LOL there seemed to be ton of seat options when I was on the site, no idea why they had such a backup.
The back up was due to number of people trying to access, not number of seats available.
ART holds tickets specifically for general release. Dates listed as "limited" during the pre-sale for members, are no longer listed as such.
Once I got in it was easy peasy. I had two dates I was aiming for, grabbed the earlier one (First Sunday performance).
My point was that if a lot of people were getting tickets, I expected there to be less seat options. But sure, be your condescending self.

I do find it very intriguing that they have no clues or hints or anything when it comes to casting. So interesting. Sweaty Oracle said Rachel Zegler was attached at one point but I don't think she is anymore. So I have no idea about this cast.

I heard somewhere (it very well could've been this board) that Solea Pfeiffer was rumored to be Jordan Baker, but not sure on the veracity of that.

Maybe that's why she left Hadestown. lol

Then maybe you should have made that clear in your post. I only addressed what you wrote. So thanks for the nastiness
The same thing happens whenever any ticketing website is overloaded: very few people are able to get through initially, so when they add a queue, and the site finally gets up and running properly, the inventory has barely been touched. Gatsby at Paper Mill was a similar experience.

They're going to be using Yondr pouches for this show apparently. I guess they don't want any of the music to leak. I wonder if this will become more common.

That's a very aggressive and complicated way to achieve that. I guess they really think it's the selling point, curiosity around her first score.
Not wanting the music to leak is a very dumb notion. Getting people excited by a score has always been one of the major incentives for people to buy tickets.
1. Where did you see anything about yondr pouches? I don't care, just like to be informed.
2. There's a difference between releasing music and stealing music.

When you go to buy tickets, there's a blurb that says.
"Keep the story on the stage: this performance will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, smart accessories, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space—just like if it were the roaring ’20s!"

I doubt the yondr pouches are about stealing music. It's more likely about people video-ing the performance or simply using their phones, which has become such a distraction.
During the last three Broadway shows I attended, multiple audience members had phones out - texting, videoing the performance, checking the weather, scrolling emails, etc.
I wish all shows used yondr pouches.

Actually, this is strange. I must have clicked on the one of the few performances that this is happening at. The blurb isn't on most of the performances. My bad...
