Don't see her doing it. Nina is a bland/boring role. Zegler has "On Your Feet" & "Last Dance" in pre-production, Evita prep -- and solo October concert at the Palladium, UK.
Vanessa, maybe - but probably not. Nina, no. I don't see that role worth her time.

Really thought they would announce the cast at the Rush event or sometime earlier this week leading up to it. It’s now less than two months to rehearsals and almost two months to the first performance.

It’s not like they’re not going to cast it. They have plenty of time to announce.

If this is planning to transfer to Broadway, that cast isn't going to sell tickets.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I think you all underestimate that ITH has always been the star. The show itself birthed names. No one saw the original ITH because they knew the theater actors in it. I say let's calm down and give the production a chance to gain its own steam. Theater people really love tearing down our own industry before things even happen. Geez.

This hardly feels like a "Gala production" cast to me. More like what you might expect from a solid regional theater.

Ah yes, the role so pivotal to the show that it was the only thing they cut from the movie. (For real though, “Enough” is the worst song in the score and Priscilla’s “No no no no no, no no no no no” is my sleep paralysis demon.)

I love this and it's very much what Lin is all about. He selects mostly unknown people and many of them become huge. The show is incredible and it's the star (just like Hamilton), regardless of cast. That is exactly what he's doing for The Warriors. You don't need stars when something is excellent one its own. Love.
Matte Martinez was perfect in MJ, and I'm so happy Lin picked him as Usnavi. The dancing in this will be next level.

Must say I'm feeling very... whelmed by this. Thrilled for Belcon, who was ethereal in BVSC, and De La Rosa who always delivers excellent vocals, but this feels like a rather shockingly unexciting cast for what's such a particularly exciting event.
