A friend purchased tix for Mattress at the box office. When he gave his name, the computer told the box office person he was eligible for the discount. (He's not, and it's been a few years since he has been.) Didn't check his id.
Might be just me but anytime I have had to pick up tickets at City Center Box Office they have asked me for my ID.

I got my ticket for Ragtime with the Access code just now very easily. There was still good availability on the two dates I checked.

Just an FYI, there was a $700 unauthorized transaction through TodayTix one day after I called to place an order for Ragtime at NYCC. I can't imagine this is a coincidence and can only assume the person who took my order misused my card details
I would suggest that other folks check their credit card statements.
Edit: I've reached out to TodayTix to get more info. I've never used the platform before so I'm pretty confident someone stole my card details but I do want to verify through them, it's possible some glitch somewhere charged me. I do also want to say that there are many ways for people to steal card numbers and the super kind and patient guy that helped me place my order for NYCC isn't automatically the culprit here. I was a bit frustrated when I first wrote this but my assumption is just that, an assumption. And those are often wrong. Just want to raise awareness in case whatever happened to me is also happening to others.

I wasn't aware TodayTix is selling Ragtime tickets or that you can even order by phone. In the future you might be better off going directly through nycitycenter.org or calling their box office.

I did not buy (and have never bought) tickets through TodayTix. When I purchased Ragtime tickets I called the New York City Center box office at 212-581-1212

Meh

Ugh, I don’t understand the appeal of Killam. And beyond that I think he’s just wrong for the role. That has dampened my excitement for the show.
Really? I think Killam has been a reliably very funny performer onstage.
I’ll say the same thing I always say about Urinetown: put it on TV with Will Arnett and Will Forte as Lockstock and Barrel.

Doesn't get much more "meh" than this.
Jordan Fisher = dull as dishwater
Taran Killam -- will be fine but feel like I've already seen his performance
Keala Settle -- can sing the song -- but nothing she's done to date leads me to believe she has the comic chops the role requires
Stephanie Styles -- probably the most interesting of the bunch -- loved her in KMK
If we can’t have Bonnie Milligan as Pennywise or an even remotely interesting actor as Bobby, can Encores please get John Lithgow as Cladwell? Please??

Taran Killam and Keala Settle have me there!
(jk I was already gonna be there)
Settle is an amazing singer, but her acting abilities are so narrow. This Urinetown cast is just...blah...

It feels weird to me that Stephanie is playing a lead/featured role in two City Center productions in one year. She's amazing, but it's giving summer stock vibes.

Have any discount codes been released for Ragtime?

100% agree. It also actually is a great casting choice to me.

Killam was the only one who understood the humor and style of the last Spamalot revival. And yes, that includes the person who was nominated for a Tony. I think he is a great choice.
Tickets on sale now to members. After 20 mins of dealing with the site and finally getting everything in my cart, I was thrilled to go to the checkout to find my cart was empty.
I hope nobody wants to sit in the orchestra or Grand Tier for "Love Life" since those are 99% sold out, already.
City Center ticketing, pricing and discounting has become tiresome.
