Dunno where you’ve been but the tour not only was announced over a year ago but it starts in roughly 2 months. Tour kicks off September 12, 2026 at the Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH. 

Nicole Parker was also allegedly joining the cast on Broadway before it announced closing. Wouldn’t be surprised if she and York end up leading the tour. Those are decent “names” as far as theater fans are concerned. Even if they don’t help the box office much, verbiage such as “led by Broadway veteran leading ladies…”  will look good in local press pieces.

Nicole seems like such an obvious choice! I’m mad I didn't think of her. If she’s the tour Helen, I’ll be happy to see her!
