EVITA tour cast stuck in Houston

With evacuation too dangerous in a bus because of long traffic lines on the highway, the decision was made to keep the cast of EVITA at the hotel in Houston. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare to weather this storm.

christ. you guys!!! ugh... be safe.

(if you have some free time though, it wouldn't be entirely terrible if those ugly silks that come in from the flies with Eva's face on them during the funeral get lost in the storm...)

Do you all really think nycdncr is saying "unfortunately" about being in the tour in general?

...As opposed to being in the tour IN HOUSTON RIGHT NOW???

the hotel is being great. they have an emergency plan underway. tomorrow we'll probably be moved to the ballrooms to seek shelter as rita approaches land fall. the turn the hurricane took this afternoon is in our favor, but we're keeping our fingers crossed.

cast morale is alright now. we're trying to keep each others' minds off of the impending storm.

i'm still saying lots of prayers.

OMG...be safe everyone! I hope you guys ride out the storm ok. I'm suppose to attend Evita here in Costa Mesa, CA in a couple weeks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Well having my uncle stuck down in there was bad... but a beautiful tour like this? Oh no. Let's hope, they, and everyone else in Houston are allright when this storm blows over. You are in my prayers!!

I hope you are at least at a high elevation. Isn't most the buildings glass there?

Be safe and stay away from windows!
