Sad this show has ended. I'm listening to the London recording right now and was wondering what songs other fans classify as their favorites. I love the opening (morning routine). My favorite songs would be (in no order) Cards, Hardbody, Not A Common Man, Killing Spree and This Is Not An Exit. What are your favorites?

I love You Are What You Wear and I Am Back, but the entire score is wonderful and I really hope they make and OBCR!

You Are What You Wear
This Is Not An Exit
Killing Spree
Apparently somebody has started an GoFundMe for a cast album. Not sure if anyone has brought this up or not. I don't know how legitimate it is, because it appears it doesn't appear to be started by someone affiliated to the show.
Here's the link. https://www.gofundme.com/23dsnrfw
And here's a link to the tweet exchanged that seems to have spurred it. https://twitter.com/theaterppl/status/739465734267494400
is $30,000 even remotely enough to record a cast recording? but yeah that isn't official in anyway. He says he'll give the money to the creative team.

I have just started listening to the London cast album. I really hope they do a Broadway cast recording. Jenn Damiano mentioned in a tweet that a Broadway cast recording was planned but this was probably before the closing announcement.
I noticed that Holly James from the Broadway ensemble was also in the London cast. Were many of the actors in the Broadway cast also part of the London show?
Miss this show.

That arrangement of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is great.
You Are What You Wear (hooked me immediately)
Not a Common Man
Killing Spree
I Am Back
This Is Not an Exit
Honorable Mention: A Girl Before, Cards, Mistletoe Alert
This show is significantly different enough from the London production to warrant its own recording. I sure hope we get it.

That, too. Nods to "In the Air Tonight" as well.
I have tons:
- If We Get Married
- You Are What You Wear (what made me fall in love with the show.)
- Selling Out
- Cards
- Killing Time
- In The Air Tonight
- Hardbody
- The Clean Reprise
- This Is Not An Exit
I love pretty much every song in the show. I just really dislike the OLCR. I feel like the recording is going for completely different tone IMO.

I saw it yesterday for the second time (and sadly, the last). My favorite song was Selling Out, closely followed by You Are What You Wear. Having seeing it again, I was mesmerized by Alice Ripley's haunting vocals in In The Air Tonight - you can just hear her (at least from where I was sitting) but it brought a whole other feel to that song.
Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Selling Out, You Are What You Wear, Cards, Killing Spree, Hardbody.
Honorable mention goes to HARDBODY LUIS which was cut out of the Broadway production. Originally situated after Patrick assaults Luis in the change room, it completely elevated Luis' character arc/internal struggle. It is incredibly haunting and very distressing; sad that it was cut, but it makes sense given that it is kind of a downer segue into You Are What You Wear (Reprise) at Les Mis.
I'm sad to hear they cut Luis's reprise as it's a highlight for me of the OLCR. Did Jordan Dean's Luis get featured in any of the ensemble numbers on Broadway?
Favorite songs for me are "Cards" and "You Are What You Wear." I didn't care for Matt Smith's voice on the OLCR but would like to hear Ben Walker sing "If We Get Married" and "This is Not an Exit."
I really enjoy the original "Killing Time" on the OLCR and "Selling Out" live. "You Are What You Wear" is just really fun and I appreciate the campiness. And all of the covers are really surprisingly incorporated and arranged.

He had a few spoken lines in Killing Spree (like in the OLCR) but that's about it. I think he woulda' killed (sorry!) HARDBODY LUIS.
I've decided to add A Girl Before to my original list. Musically, it seems a little out of context with most of the other songs. However, it really makes a nice statement a couple of songs after At The End Of An Island/Hardboy Hamptons. Mellows things down a bit before we get to This Is Not An Exit. Looking back, I'm liking all the high energy songs closely together, and then towards end, the songs become a bit more relaxing and mellow while you are putting (and seeing) different pieces of the characters together. From about Killing Spree to This Is Not An Exit. The beat and mood of the songs seem to go from high energy to ballads which sets up a fantastic hearing of This Is Not An Exit.

gfaustwa, I feel the same way. Given how Act 2 grows darker and darker as it barrels toward its inevitable conclusion, it makes sense that the music becomes more mellow and somber. The true character work (through music) is in the second act.
