Entered the flying over sunset lottery yesterday and all my friends didn’t win but got a discounted ticket offer of $59 seats. Lottery was $40 but TOdayTix at $29 is an even better deal! Thank you!
The $29 seats aren't partial view right? I might try to go this week. It's rare that you see an original musical open cold on Broadway so it'll be interesting to see how it evolves between now and opening night.

Would tonight be considered its world premiere?"
Yeah I think so. There was an invited dress just before lockdown, but yeah I guess this will be the first time that it will be seen by general audiences.
It’s weird to think this is finally happening. The last time I had tickets to the first preview of this show, the world shut down. Kind of a full circle moment tonight. I’m curious if Lapine will make a speech beforehand.
New discount just came out for preview performances. $39 for every seat in the first 3 rows of the loge, and $69 for seats starting at row L in the 500's section of the orchestra. FSTM212 on Telecharge Offers.
I already bought orchestra seat G 101 with a discount, but I just picked up a spare in the front row center loge for the same performance. Depending on reactions from tonight, and feedback on sightlines from the side orchestra, I might end up returning my original seat, and going with the loge.
Yesterday I lost the lottery, clicked on the link for the $59 tickets, but it didn't work. Called the # listed on the link (telecharge), they didn't know anything about $59 tickets, told me to call box office, which I did, followed prompts, ended up at telecharge again -- eventually I went to the box office myself and bought a $69 ticket for tonight, first row upstairs. Glad to know there are much cheaper alternatives now; just happy I'll be there.
My favorite thing in all the world is to go to a first preview of a new production. This almost makes me feel like life is back to normal -- it certainly is a big step in the right direction. The last time I was at the Vivian Beaumont for a first preview was "South Pacific."

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Taffy. I went from 3rd row center loge to front row center loge, same section and saved $30. With the price decrease and Chicken & Biscuits closing, this is now a done deal for my second show. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
11:07 and the show just got out. I’ll be sure to write more in a bit or in the morning. I will say the second act needs some work. It’s going to divide people but I truly truly enjoyed the show. It’s a real adult show in the sense that it doesn’t even pretend to pander to a younger crowd. It’s about adults who are lonely and needing connection and it’s not afraid to be that and I found that so refreshing.
Started about 10 minutes late, just getting out on the street now. Could definitely use some cuts, but… THEY GOT SOMETHING GOOD HERE!! Echoing that Carmen Cusack was incredible and also adding that Tony Yazbeck’s tap number is really outstanding.
Production design is a fantastic combination of projections and practical sets.
Will try to compose some more coherent thoughts when at home and not on a phone, just know people were antsy to hear about this one!

As someone who won’t get to see this, I wonder if the theme of “adults who are lonely and needing connection” hitsdifferently after we’ve been through collectively during the last 20 months.

No speeches or anything like that."
I have it on good authority that there will be some trimming. So glad to hear your thoughts on the show. Thanks to Jordan too.

A real adult show... lonely people... I'm literally so excited to hear more about this.
