right bands and films...
okay when it comes to bands, i suck -
i hardly ever listen to radio...and i don't really know who's who anymore..
some of you know that i freelance at tv stations... i've recently been gigging at MTV which is the only reason i recognize anybody - thinking about getting a Black Eyed Peas disc - worth it?
movies!
CRASH - one of my recent favs...
Goodnight and Goodluck
RENT (natch)
i'm a Harry Potter fan as well but haven't caught the new one..
a lot harder for me to get to the movies these days - buy most of them on DVD after the fact - have quite a list for Christmas!

Posted: 11/30/05 at 10:43pmI just saw the new HP on Sunday (and then snuck in for the last half of Rent after...which is why i'm up to 3 1/2 times) -- and without spilling anything, I have to admit I was really disappointed with the new HP. It was definitely COOL, but it lacked so much for me. Depth, for one thing. Dialogue, as well. Snape had what, like 3 lines in the whole film? Even the interaction between Harry, Ron, and Hermoine seemed sparse. I thought the 3rd film was much better in comparison.

ntg - you're pimping constant gardener again??
LOVED crash, goodnight and goodluck was okay, and of course harry potter and rent. this harry potter was my favorite of the 4. of course the subject matter continue to get darker, but the movies are keeping pace with it, and i'm happy about that.

*gasp*
Fredi,
I. Loved. Good Night and Good Luck!!!
I thought the cinematography, the direction and the script were brilliant and that SOUNDTRACK!!! It's definately on the top of my Xmas Wish List, no joke
Crash was excellant as well, it was so clever how everyone's lives eventually fit together. And I LOVE Lorretta Devine's character...hell, I love Lorretta Devine

Maybe that's because Rachel is the right way to spell it? :) Just kidding..I'm obviously biased, since I'm named Rachel.
I am just thankful my name isn't spelled Raychal or Raechel or whatever weird ass way of spelling it has come about to make the very common name seem unique. (As a bit of randomness... of the 45 or 50 girls in my hall freshman year of college, 4 others were named Rachael
--- and our names were all spelled differently)
Ahem... I'm listening to "We're OK" and singing along for fun.

Well Fredi is a Movie nut.. If my memory serves she's has quite the DVD collection.. Or maybe I'm just on crack..
