Wow, it was the original Tango: Maureen reunion, wasn't it? I didn't even think of that!
I am honored to be a part of this. It's like seeing and hearing the duo for the first time...what a trip!

looks totally twisted - but my kind of twist!

Posted: 12/1/05 at 12:51amOh yeah! I forgot about that! They do parody RENT in Team America...they call it "Lease"...it's hysterical if you're open to it.

Oh no Fredi! In addition to it being your type of humor, there is the Rent parody. We'll get it for you somehow...I may be getting a DVD burner for chanukah...
And OMG Once on this island! I'm a pit geek I've played like 5 shows and I loove it and...once on this island was the first show I ever played, I adore it! I played the clarinet solo near the end where the audience was crying...and then I met Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty in a series at the Kennedy Center and got ot talk to them about the music and it was amazing, what a great show!
I think my fav South Park episode is Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride...so great, and then John Stamous' brother finally hits the high note at the end...
Good to know! Hmm, I'm quite tempted to send you a couple more of their songs, ones I like better than mmmbop. They really were talented imo--great harmony, wrote their own songs, played their own instruments, the first concert I went to was Hanson hehe.

orangeskittles, "Arrested Development" is the best. Maybe Showtime will pick it up.
Being a part of this evening has been surreal. Thanks to Fredi and Anthony and all of the posters here. I have to catch up on the comments I've missed!

Oh, Fredi, you seriously need to rent the seasons. It's on Season 3 now on tv...the other seasons are short so it's easy to play catch up...I think last night's episode was one of the most twisted episodes I've ever seen on tv. The depth to the characters in this show is just....it's amazing. I'm a sucker for character development...and there's been so much growth with these main characters...heartbreaking growth though.

Posted: 12/1/05 at 12:55amLoved the Scientology episode.... South Park is such brilliant social commentary. A lot of people dismiss it completely because it's a cartoon and, admittedly, sophomoric at times, but it does a great job of satirizing real issues.
