i'm just too cool, clearly.
fredi, when the movie is on DVD, someone needs to work their video-editing magic and make you the bag lady. because i keep picturing you in that part. it has to happen.
Ha I can't afford to see a movie either. Dirt poor I am.
I think she knows exactly who Wax Lion is, she just doesn't want to tell us.

me too mandi moo...its a conspiracy!!!!
reading what you just posted makes me start thinking. And makes me realize that it is the only thing that would make me truly happy. I know what you mean by the stage being the only way all of you comes out, that is what it is for me. Thank you for being blunt, and thanks for talking to us. It means so much to all of us!
as intense as that may be, I dont think i could do anything but perform, it has and always will be my life, and I'm ready to take on as many jobs on top of auditioning as i need to in order to succeed. I just have never really felt "complete" or "right" without theatre in my life somehow or someway---as lame and corny as that sounds, its entirely true

Fredi- this has been asked of all the original stars of the show, did you feel that this show would become the huge thing it is today?
What a backhanded compliment, Beka! "You'd be perfect in the film version of Rent (of which you created the role of Joanne). As the bag lady! Whoo!"
ha yes! shiksa_goddess i'm glad i'm not alone!
Oh Tiff, your picture is scary. He looks so...yeah. =)

As much as I would love to know who Wax Lion is...not knowing is almost more interesting/fun. I think of Wax Lion as kind of a deep throat kind of character- just telling us sniptits of information. Hopefully one day he will reveal himself, though.
Edit: I apoligize for the threadjack.

Is it sad that Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort arouses and repulses me at the same time? Same with him in Red Dragon. Rrorr!

Would love to know eventually...
Fredi- I think it's so interesting that you really lived the whole "starving artist" lifestyle. I would love if you could tell us more about it. The sad thing is- I can see myself doing that.
Ha, Broadwaybelter, I am glad my being poor pleases you =)
Yeah, it sucks being poor though, movies are a luxury that can wait until being put out on DVD, and then I can watch them and eat my Ramen =)

sounds like a couple of you know what being a starving artist is already...
it's just that simple - not even having the $ to see a movie when you want to.. and it's won't be the last time...
but like i said - i ain't hatin'... been there, done that. would do it all again too!
as for Wax-Lion.. kids I don't lie to you and might find myself insulted if such is insuated again. If I knew, I'd tell you that I knew... and still wouldn't tell you who it is. But the fact is I DON'T know...
as for the bag lady - tiff, i WANTED to play her.. it would have been a hoot!
and finally - did i think it would be what it became? that would take 3 days to answer... but in short, no - it's OVERWHELMING success took us all by suprise on one level or another...
Ha, very sad Tiff.
He just plain repulses me...especially that scene when he is reborn and his body morphs and gets all bubbly.
Maybe I should put up the Voldemort picture I made and we can have a party.

Hi Fredi! The fact that you are at home posting on BWW on a Friday night makes me feel a lot better about doing the same :)
Hehe, I'm listening to "We're Okay" right now, too. My palylist is on shuffle, and that's waht came on. Coincidence? I think not.
*I think the true identity of Wax Lion will remain elusive for a while.
