I got standing room for the matinee yesterday, Sep 12. I planned to go earlier, but didn't get to the box office until just before it opened at 10. I was 7th in line, and there were still tickets available on Telecharge, but the box office didn't hesitate to sell us SR. For $30 it really is the best non-lottery discount available on Broadway right now!

Ah! I wish I'd known. I don't know when I'll be able to try again.

I did standing room Friday night after both coming up empty-handed at the "Hamilton" and "Spring Awakening" lotteries (although I won the latter for the Saturday matinee). I got there about 6:45 pm and there were still about 10 tickets left. I was walking like an 80-year-old for a few minutes after the show---lots of walking that day plus an increasingly iffy knee) but it was worth it.
Since I lived out a variation on the show's story, it hit home on a number of levels and Beth Malone, Emily Skeggs and Michael Cerveris couldn't have been nicer at the stage door. All I could blather out to Judy Kuhn was that I've loved her since "Chess." It's the truth, but I wish I could have opened up to her as I did the other three.

I tried standing room this morning. By 10 there were about 20 people in line. Both the matinee and evening shows weren't sold out so they were not selling any standing room tickets. They were offering discounted $52 seats, though.

Country, if it's not too late, I just went to the box office and they're now selling the $30 SRO.

Bought SRO ticket to Fun Home today around 5:15pm after losing the Wicked lottery. $30 for a great view was such an incredible deal. I've seen the show before from the $37 student seats in the further rows and this was a much better view of the stage. Everyone was in top form and I'm really glad I got to see Sydney again before she leaves. Can't wait to see what she does next.

Need some advice from you guys...
I am planning on doing standing room for Sydney's last show. I know the box office won't open until noon, so what time do you guys recommend? Do you think 8am should be early enough?

I was thinking of going Saturday but now I'm terribly confused about whether to go when the box office opens or to go later in the day for the better chance at SRO.

Look online. If the house is sold out, go when they open. If it isn't completely sold out, go later. Supposedly they do sell SRO if there are a few single left, although I can't confirm that personally.

Just grabbed a ticket for tonight's show. I got there around 9:15 and was 20-21 people in. I was concerned I wasn't gonna get it, but as soon as they opened the doors, the woman telling us where to go seemed confident we'd all get tickets

I went on 9/26 as well. I think I got there around 8:30. I was probably one of the first 5 people there. It's in the round so no matter where you stand, you're going to be in a pretty good position. I will say that where I stood, I was more or less in the center and they played to our side of the theatre a fair amount.
As for anyone who wants to go out in the next few days, please stay safe.

Did it today. Was first in line at around 8:30, got the same spot I got the last time I did SRO. SR 4 & SR 6. Great view, great price, they sold 'em to us even though there were a bunch of seats left.

Has anybody gone recently? Wanted to do it tomorrow, but it does look like there are some tickets left and wouldn't want to show up too early (as I did last time).

Has anybody been recently? I know that both shows are sold out tomorrow and I was thinking about trying for the 2pm show

I did standing room on the 30th for the matinee. Got to the theatre around 1:40 and got the last spot. It was right in the middle, 115. Great view!

Hi, has anyone been recently? I know its closing so soon
but I was just wondering if anyone knows what the line's been like!

I went to Fun Home as the matinee last Saturday and don't recall seeing a line for SRO, but I could be wrong. I don't think it was sold out though - I got tickets from TKTS, and to my knowledge they were still available on TKTS right up until showtime. Sorry if that isn't much help.
