I'm surprised there isn't more Bonnie & Clyde in this thread, so here I go ruining that for you guys. It's one of my favs.
DYIN' AIN'T SO BAD - Bonnie & Clyde
YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE - Bonnie & Clyde
THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL A DREAM - Bonnie & Clyde
BONNIE - Bonnie & Clyde
WHAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU - Bonnie & Clyde
Can we please get a proper revival of this? Maybe an off broadway concert version somewhere, idk?

"When There's No One" from CARRIE
(I always wished Streisand would have recorded this for one of her 'Broadway' albums).

I saw this thread and thought, "Oh Welcome Home from Banstand!" Yes it is a great song. I love the whole musical honestly and wish it was still on. It had its flaws but the dancing was amazing.

I do love "Times are hard for Dreamers" from Amelie. Beautiful song.
and I will admit I really dig "The World According to Chris" from Carrie, even though a few lyrics are... not great, the tune is really infectious.

the entirety of Pirate Queen. "With You" and "Suspend my Disbelief/I Had a Life" from Ghost. And although it has yet to close, (and I don't necessarily view it as a total flop) Head Over Heels has some pretty great material, especially Alexandra Socha's take on "Good Girl" and "Here You Are"

"With You" - Ghost
"Seeing You" - Groundhog Day
"Before and After You/One Second and a Million Miles" - Bridges of Madison County
All excellent songs from shows that deserved to be around longer...

Two that haven't been named that I really loved: "Show Some Respect" from The Last Ship--such a great group number. And perhaps a controversial choice as I know a lot of people thought it should've been cut: I adored "Playing Nancy" from Groundhog Day.
And to repeat one, I think the song I love the most from a show I disliked the most was "Fly, Fly Away" from Catch Me If You Can. I know some loved it. It was very much not my taste. But in the midst of the whole thing, that song just devastated me. Truly magical.

The 2001 revival of "42nd Street" didn't recoup - even though it ran for not quite 4 years, and won a few Tonys. The entire score from that show, is filled with great songs.
