It was very fun. Funny, too.
Wow, this show deeply affected my life in un-inspiring ways...but it still did affect my life
I'll miss it a lot. It deserved to run longer.
re: Goodbye DRS#4
Posted: 9/3/06 at 8:08amThis show deserved so much more praise than it recieved. Its a shame that its closing, because this really was a first rate show and it will be missed dearly.
re: Goodbye DRS#5
Posted: 9/3/06 at 9:41amSuch a shame...I loved this show so much. I saw it last april with the OBC and it was so amazing. I agree that this show didn't get enough attention and praise that it deserves. It so original, funny, and unique. I will miss this show on broadway. FAREWELL DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS!

re: Goodbye DRS#12
Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:17amGoodbye, Scoundrels! You didn't move me to tears (except through laughter once or twice) and you didn't change the world or revolutionize theatre as we know it, but you were a fun, entertaining show and that's a good thing too. You'll be missed.
re: Goodbye DRS#13
Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:20amWell, it's sad of course, but think of the success it will (hopefully) have on tour. (According to Playbill.com, it's getting great reviews.) And all of those (hopefully) stock and amateur productions! Scoundrels will go on.

Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:24amIt's such a shame. What a great show, it's been my source of laughter. It will live on.

Thank you to the incredibly hard-working cast, crew, pit, dressers, garbage men, and everyone who had anything to do with this incredible show. Even though it didn't get the critical priase it deserved, it certainly got the audience praise. I sent so many people to see it and they all loved it. All the audiences I had the pleasure of seeing it with loved it.
Much more to say
Foolish to try
It's time for saying good-bye

I really can't believe this incredible show is closing. I didnt' expect Sweeney Todd to be around very long after I saw it, but I thought DRS would be around forever! It definitely should have gotten more praise. It will be one of my favorite shows forever.
I had a dream that I was at the final performance... unfortunately, I can't be there in real life. I wish the best of luck to everyone involved in this incredible production.
Farewell to a real crowd pleaser. Nothing has ever made me laugh harder than DRS.
re: Goodbye DRS#19
Posted: 9/3/06 at 12:46pmWell, off I go to see the final performance. I will have a full review coming up as soon as we get back. It is going to be quite an emotional show.

Such a sad sad day. I will be listening to the cast recording all day. "It was a ball, it was a blast..."

"it was a ball, it was a blast, it was a shame it couldn't last"
I have those lyrics stuck in my head for the past two days. I LOVED this show. Definitely one of my favorites to see performed. I'm sad it's closing, but I'm glad I was able to see it at all.
