Jim Carey's makeup was mostly prosthetics.
There don't appear to be any prosthetics here...you see his face painted to look like the Grinch, which is more sensible as far as him taking it on and off so many times each week. Other than the scary eyes, I think it looks fine.

Posted: 10/16/06 at 11:33pmActually more than anything else, I still recognize Patrick Page underneath it all because the face make-up and expression remind me a lot of Mr. Page's performance as Scar. I love this photo and am very glad to see it.
