I'm sure that after the Tonys, and especially after Lin announces when he's leaving, any remaining tickets between now and when he goes will skyrocket. There are only so many performances and available tickets for Lin's shows. It's just that nobody knows the end date yet.
2 row M orchestra were $399 5 minutes ago and just dropped to $199 at curtain time. Is it uncharitable to enjoy the thought of scalpers eating some tickets?
I saw this too, but then Iooked at the fees and that brought the $199 to $473!!! A fee more than the actual ticket, that should be illegal. Shame on stubhub.

I think you read it wrong. The $473 was for two tickets, which means the fee on each one was only about $37.
The fees on StubHub are regularly over $200, so I imagine that price of $473 is just for 1 ticket. When I just checked StubHub for tonight's performance, the cheapest tickets are $695; when you go to purchase, for the pair the price is $1645.20.

I wish that was the case! It was $473 for one ticket, not two. I double checked this. I wish the fees were proportional to the ticket, but I contacted them and found out that is not the case. They can change the fees as they see fit (I posted about this a couple weeks ago too and had an exact quote). The seller fees are 10%, but they change the buyers as they see fit. Outrageous.

I mean a $1k ticket for tonight's show is $1182. It seems unlikely that the fee would be higher on a cheaper ticket
Thought I'd share this email I received from StubHub today. (I sold two orchestra tickets for a June show recently.)
StubHub Seller,
Hamilton is the biggest selling event on StubHub this year! Because this is a high profile event and many people are traveling to attend the show, please take extra care with your orders to ensure your buyers will have no trouble getting into the events. The issues we have seen so far include:
Tickets invalidated by primary (over the limit or original purchase was fraudulent)
Wrong tickets uploaded (pay close attention to the date and time as there are days with multiple shows)
Duplicate sales on non-StubHub sites
Please be aware the primary ticketing source announced that they are actively looking for buyers who purchased over the ticket limit and may be revoking those tickets. If you purchased multiple sets of tickets, please check your account status and tickets to make sure they’re still valid. If you’re not the original purchaser, be sure you’re only buying from reputable sources and check back with them to ensure that the tickets you purchased are still valid.
If you have any concerns about the validity of your tickets, please remove your unsold listings or contact us immediately about your sales. We’re here to help.
We appreciate your partnership in this effort. Thanks for using StubHub!

I agree it seems unlikely, but that is the price that the $199 ticket changed to when I chose to show the price with fees. Then I went to check out with only 1 ticket just to double check (because it was so insane I thought I was seeing wrong), and sure enough, after fees, $473 for the same one ticket. That is proportionally the highest fee I've ever seen, which is why I felt compelled to comment on it on here. They are always high, but that takes the cake. Anyways, when searching Stubhub it is a good idea to chose the option in top right corner that lets you see the total price you will be paying so there are no surprises. I hope everyone gets to see the show and wish you luck!
As is mentioned elsewhere in this thread and that one, if you're physically able, you can run up to FedEx at the Marriott and print and get back down again in time.

Oh I've read every post but just don't think I could get in print shop and out and in theater I'm 15min...on the plus side they seem to be dropping earlier :)

Minus the tents, it doesn't seem like either of those things were accomplished...
Sorry but one last question on printing---- how do I get it from cell to printer? Do I forward the email to them while there! Just making sure I don't need a laptop for this crazy-fun stunt I am about to pull :)
