26 hours.
I hope things are going well for @Martin4au."
Not sure how the timestamp of Twitter works but it was posted on Tuesday May 24th at 6:21PM. Didn't the show last night start at 7PM and normally cancellation line tix are sold up until 7:05PM? Just found the tweet odd.
Good luck Martin4au!

Hey all, non cancellation line Hamilton here, couldn't find any threads on it and didn't want the poor people of these boards to see yet another Hamilton thread.
Does the RRT sell merchandise to non ticketholders? I am going in to see a matinee on Sat (American Psycho) and would love to go buy some Hamilton merch. I know some of those small shops sell show merch (at a markup) but I'd like the best selection. Do they have a booth set up before the ticket scanners? I would go before a show started letting in.

"I think the merchandise are set up inside pass the ticket scanners. You can try coming in after the show, when most of the people have exited the theater. We did this once but we waited too long, and the items have already been put away."
They are. And if you hang out outside just in front of the doors, they may let you in at the very end of the curtain call.

Cancellation line update Wednesday, May 25 1 PM. I am currently fourth and fifth in line for tickets after arriving at 6 PM on Monday. As posted earlier 6 PM there were already 15 to 16 people/tickets in line . 10 tickets were handed out, cannot tell you how many went to what seats I just watched who got in. when they moved us from in front of the theater to the side of the theater at about 6 PM they had us commit to a line for either Tuesday or Wednesday. Since almost everybody in the line has been here just for one ticket and all the friends were here everybody's trying to play the odds of being in both lines after the 10 tickets were given out and I cant remember exact times. Probably 10 minutes from the first ticket until she came out and said no more tickets. At that point some of the Wednesday people decided not to do it so I am currently sitting in fourth and fifth for tickets.
'The Final 5' (Monday afternoon arrivals) are all hanging pretty tough. Number six in line is a young man arrived about 9 AM Tuesday morning and committed to Wednesday at the line split. Number seven wants 2 premiums and number eight in line will take premium or regular regular. She would like two tickets but would be willing to just take one she's l she would like to tickets but would take a single sine she is doing the camping out her friend is at work. Next in line is three teenagers who showed up shortly after the production ended on Tuesday night. After that people Came in all night and the line is 30 people deep past the 3 teenagers. Not sure if any will stay for tomorrow.
sorry so chaotic I am not 100% sharp currently!

So you've been in line for like 45 hours and you're 5th and 6th for tickets. What in the ever loving ****
I wonder at what point does the wait to see Hamilton get so long and arduous that, when you finally get a ticket and see the show, you realize, "You know, that was a good show, but it wasn't worth what I just went through to see it" ?
72 hours? 96 hours? 120 hours? I guess we'll find out at some point...

Ha! I was wondering the same thing.
I've also been wondering if at some point the wait is so ridiculous that everyone says "gah never mind" and then the wait is back down to say 8 hours -- that'd be cool. <she says, wistfully>

Dam, 45 hours. Determination! Martin4au I hope you get tickets tonight (there is no matinee today). Most of all, stay hydrated/eat.

It's shows 9:21 (EST) on my phone. So, it would have been after the show.

I imagine once the OBC is gone the waits will come down

Just checked my phone and yeah it does say 9:21PM EST. Odd. On my work computer (set in EST as well) it says 6:21pm. ok whatever. like I said no idea how twitter timestamp works. Thanks though! 26 hours is a long wait.

Technically one member of the OBC is gone (Jonathan Groff). I do remember for Jonathan's last week the line waits were quite long.
I think another reason the line is longer now is because people are actually staying on the line. When I did the line in the spring, people would go to the line, see that there are already 10 people on the line, ask the first 2-3 people what time they got there, and then say they'll come back another day in the hopes of getting a better spot in line.

Interesting line situation today. Arrived about 20 min ago (with my luggage lol). Only 1 line. People seemed to be doing wrapping around for tomorrow. So people in front get to decide if they want to wait for tomorrow first. So don't know my number in line yet.

I think that's the better policy. Good luck for tomorrow!

I was in yesterday's line and they only split it maybe two hours before the show. It was when we got moved over to the area in between the Marriott and the theater. People who had friends got in both lines to cover their bases while singles opted one line or the other and if they didn't get tickets from the first line, went to the back of the next one.

Hello people, completely new to the thread.read through the last 20 pages. My girl wanted to watch hamilton and I wanted to suprise her with tickets. I dont mind waiting in line for a while either. Plan was to wait in the cancellation line, tell her to come to new york (near the theatre obviously) to chill and if I'm lucky I can score a couple seats and suprise her, if not still have fun in new york. Is this viable? Any tips? What time to get there if I wanna get into Friday 8 pm or Saturday matinee? What to bring? What to expect? Never done this before. Thanks for the help.

Yes I saw Steins come up! There is no split today really would not have mattered because of all the people up in the front are partnered up and would've just put one in each line like we did yesterday .
my guess is at best he will be 6 in line - family of 5 in front of him will not get in tonight but is staying! But if only 2 or 3 tickets go out he could be 12! At this long we are in for another day!
4 premiums went out about 4:30.
they have moved us to the left side of theater and everyone was getting anxious but now Leslie Odom just walked by so the line has thinned to chase him.
will try to remember how tickets go tonight!

I would not recommend doing it anymore. The first 2 in line for tomorrow night got there at 5am today..... This is definitely gonna be my last time doing it
