What time do they split the lines? I remember someone posted that there is one long line for the evening as well as the following day, and then at some point the theater folks split the line and ask you to choose. Just want to ask if anyone knows/remembers what time this happened in the past.
The line no longer split as it stands for yesterday. It is a single line. First person who didn't get in yesterday's show got to be #1 for tonight unless they bailed

It seems like the policy shifts day to day, but I hope they stick with this one and reward those who are most patient.

@steins, is it quite hot there? Like are you guys actually sweating? From what I recall from waiting in line in the spring, we never got the sun due to the awning/scaffolding/large buildings in the area! Plus it was windy too.
I was just outside for lunch and loved the weather but as long as you're not directly under the sun, I think the people in the line will be ok. Right?

"Thanks Stein. :)
Good luck tonight! Have you been in line since Monday?! Sending positive vibes your way!!"
Was wearing short pants and actually put my pajama back on. No direct sunlight but radiation with longer pants on is much much better than with short pants.
I also think I made a strategic mistake of coming after the day of no noon show. There is a high chance people showed up thinking there might be 2 shows and ended up only having one, resulting in a longer line. I probably either skipped my homework or didn't pay attention to that when I decided to come on a Thursday.
Well. situation turned out to be a little bit awkward.
One of the S.O.L.D. guy showed up, he posed as some stranger on the street interested in seeing the show (without cap), and interacted with the crowd then joined the line immediately afterwards. I got suspicious and after a few more minutes looking at hime I was 90% sure I saw his face before, but I was not 100% sure. I was very tempted to ask here if anyone knows him then decided just to ask him directly if he is from S.O.L.D. So he admitted (he is also on this forum) and apparently one more guy from S.O.L.D. is coming for 4 premium tickets tomorrow. The crowd behind me seemed to believe line-sitters were banned and I double checked with the box office they were o.k. as long as line-sitter is going in with the client. But when I popped the question of premium tickets which were released earlier in the day, and there would be no one to prevent them switching with clients, they didn't seem to know what to do, and will relay the question to management. So the situation left as it is.
Miguel and Robert and many others from S.O.L.D. we have befriended with in previous overnight wait before the cancellation policy change are nice people. I have no evil thought against them. In fact, anyone will probably agree it is hard not to like Miguel and Robert. I feel empathy for people who hired them and their business after the policy change.
Despite that, as a fan, I would definitely take a political stand in this and saying buddy system works best in fan's favor, you only pay a buddy's ticket and that's about it. And everyone got in love the show. I still decide I like Miguel and Robert on a personal level, but I hope they don't take this wrongly I am just a fan and I have a different interest in this than theirs.
People are waiting two and three days, and more, for tickets now - can you imagine what's going to happen during the summer when the students show up with nothing but time? It'll be a mob scene. My guess is the RTT will do away with the cancellation line long before July 4. It's out of hand already.

It's over 85 degrees and the humidity is raging today. The sidewalks are HOT and a Memorial day weekend to boot. The sun is NOT our friend today. I thought I'd give this line another try before I utilize the line sitting service. I'm going to be positive about getting tickets on my own.
Anyways, this annoying dude on the line started mouthing off about an hour ago and he seriously needs to STFU with a capital S! Nobody needs his foolishness now or ever. It's too damn HOT for this. "I'm NOT havin it. I will NOT have it!" **In my Jasmine Guy voice**. I would go over and sock him one, but I'm NOT trying to get arrested.

If I ever end up at Hamilton again (and in the summer, no less) I really hope I don't end up next to someone who's been sitting in line without so much as a baby wipe to their pits.

If anyone on this line needs anything, please let me know. I called out of work and used a sick day today. I have anti bacterial hand sanitizer, deodorant, cleansing clothes from L'Oréal Paris, and maxi pads for those heavy days. Though I'm a little light for those light days. I also have a body spritzer bottle if anyone feels they need to feel a little refreshed.
I came prepared. I have condoms too just in case. You never know when a street walker might proposition you.

Wow S.O.L.D. and to your boss Robert
I hope Robert didn't authorize this, because if he is, this really destroyed your reputation:
Robert claims broadwayfan2 is from a competitor company http://imgur.com/rW0KpLO
Broadwayfan2 says he is using S.O.L.D. http://imgur.com/is23Zw6
Broadwayfan2 is in line and by his own admission he took 1 day off http://imgur.com/fTST2YP
