All I have to say is THANK GOD I went last week...there is no feasible way we could have waited any longer than the 17 hours we waited. Happy for everyone who got in tonight!

Sorry, but in my opinion the line sitters aren't doing anything wrong by getting premium tickets and then delivering them to their clients..they aren't breaking any of the rules. The rule that states you have to go straight into the theatre after purchasing a ticket clearly refers to the tickets that are released minutes to show time, not the premium tickets released earlier in the day. Not sure why you'd raise a stink when they are behind you...

I thought SOLD was only doing one person a day due to the new rules. And if you get one sitter for two premiums and then no premiums are released you get kind of screwed

But all people before me except 2 wants premium. I was very lucky today.... When I arrived last night, I thought I would not have a chance. Today must be a blessing.
guy comes at 3pm today got in. Go figure!
Congrats! I was actually in midtown for a meeting this morning and thought briefly about moseying over to the RR and checking out the line around noon. As you said that someone who arrived at 3 p.m. got a ticket, apparently I should have followed that instinct!
Anyway, a question for after you come down to earth/after you get some rest.
When there are a quantity of tickets as there were today, do they announce that they have a large quantity? Or is it 2, then 2, then 1, etc. I ask because if a theoretical twosome is waiting in line, each for 2 tickets (second to be given to their plus ones), how likely is it that they will know that they will be able to get 4 - so that they don't have to make the decision to take just 2 (1 each), and go directly into the theater, leaving their later-arriving plus ones with no chance at tickets?
Thanks. I know it's rare for so many tickets to be available as there were today, but just wondering how it went down today.

"I thought so too. I'm confused. I'm not sure what the fuss is about. I don't think that's breaking the current RR policy."

Yes that should be fine so no need to apologize. Not sure what happened but there was obviously a misunderstanding. Perhaps that's what happens after 24 hours of waiting? Either way, hiring one line sitter to buy 2 premium tickets (if any are sold) abide by the rules.

I can kind of answer this. When I went there were 6 lottery tickets that went to the line. I was a single and there were 4 behind me. I told the theater guy I was alone, he asked who else was a single, a guy like 7 or 8 people back was so he jumped ahead. So it was me and random guy and then the 4 people together. He brought us forward and had us pair up. Then he lead us in to the box office. I'm not sure how many non lottery tickets were released or what the procedure was but I imagine it's similar.

I'm in Vegas at the end of my vacation but OMG!!!!!! This line???? What has happened! It's like a telenovela! LOL! If Lin can write a musical about a founding father, someone here with playwright skills can make a show of this cancellation line alone! LOL! I want Jennifer Lopez making her broadway debut as MyFavoriteBrunette! LOL!

screenshot 1/2/3 presents confliciting informations they said themselves. If what Robert said is true, broadwayfan2 has no reason to promote SOLD service. So I only saw one SOLD guy in line today. So please tell me who is broadwayfan2 and who is he really works for. I hope the name calling stop now.

I'm pretty sure bf2 acts like they are with or use sold but are the competition and trying to get you to have a negative opinion on sold. Remember when she was asking about sitting services in an annoying way and then said thanks to sold I'm going to Hamilton! She's the worst gaslighter ever

Idk, I'm not rich or anything but I don't think saving a thousand dollars is worth living like a homeless person for 3 days. You can always find a way to make extra money. The only way I can understand this is if you're a family of four or more because that's a chunk of change but the rest of you who are willing to do that are crazy.

To be fair, you were talking about them here and you know they read this and I'm guessing you talked to the theater about them so I would call it mutual combat. No matter who is right or wrong, if you start something, there's going to be something. It's how life works.

Soon. In 90 degrees heat (cooler here in Vegas) people will get batty.

Why would they care about being recognized in the line? I think they cared more that you tried getting the box office involved when they were not breaking rules.

So glad I got to see it at the Public with the ORIGINAL cast for $50 twice. This whole line thing sounds like a nightmare, and I camp out a lot (just did an easy sit for Taming of the Shrew).

I'm sorry but this whole thing sounds absolutely ridiculous. I don't think any show is worth camping out on the street for 17 hours, especially in the forthcoming summer heat. I'm happy to wait a few years for the ticket prices to come down!

Alright guys I'm finally in line! #1 and 2 for tomorrow. So far only 7 or so people in line. Think the news of a long wait has scared people off.
Honestly I feel like people on here are being a little over dramatic. If you don't want to camp out fine but I've been planning this trip since March and I'd rather camp and give my money directly to the theater than a scalper online. I have a four day weekend so I have the time to spare.
If someone arrived at 3 pm yesterday and got in then maybe Mon through Wed was a fluke. Maybe yesterday was a fluke. Can't really predict wth the line.
To each their own.
