It's too damn HOT for this. "I'm NOT havin it. I will NOT have it!" **In my Jasmine Guy voice**. I would go over and sock him one, but I'm NOT trying to get arrested."
Wrong assumptions on everyone's part. I work in time square and have a 9 to 5. I called out today to give this line one last try instead of running here on my lunch break and I used a vacation tomorrow since no one's going to be in the office. Anyways, I don't need to explain myself, but that person on the line who was annoying everyone 2 hours ago needs to stop and he seems to have settled down which is great. This is not the weather for it.
screenshot 1/2/3 presents confliciting informations they said themselves. If what Robert said is true, broadwayfan2 has no reason to promote SOLD service. So I only saw one SOLD guy in line today. So please tell me who is broadwayfan2 and who is he really works for. I hope the name calling stop now.
Oh. Okay. Thanks for explaining. It's been a long week / day, so I may be slow on the uptake but I'm still not sure what the big deal is. He may be who he says he is, or he might be a linesitter. In any case, does it matter as long as he's following the rules of the line? Anyway...
Good luck to everyone in line today! Stay cool. Seems like tempers are running a bit high out there with the heat.
Sunshine31, I'm not going to dignify your question with a response. At the end of the day, we're all just trying to enjoy this musical which I hope to see tonight. It'll be my first experience.
This weather is not for everyone so I was in utter shock when someone else on line was acting obnoxious. But it's stopped now and that's all that matters.
I've been monitoring this thread for awhile and wanted to thank you all for your great knowledge and insight of the cancellation line. I'm going to give it a shot next month (insert cheesy "not throwing away my shot" line). Here's the thing - I'm a single college male with no friends/family/loved ones - so I don't have use for a second ticket. I'm also a broke single college male with no friends/family/loved ones - but I've been a big fan of the show for awhile and I'm dying to see it. This is where YOU come into play. Here's what I'm planning on doing, waiting in the cancellation line and securing two tickets. One for ME and one for YOU. Here's what I'm asking for in return for my wait: you buy my ticket and your ticket. If the tickets are not next to each other, I'll take the better seat. Oh! And a "Hamilton Gold Star T-Shirt" and a Program from the Gift Shop as a memento of our visit - because I'm extra spoiled. That's it! You gain a seat to Hamilton and a life long friend!
Send me a message and we'll work something out with exact dates and such!
^^ I know this may seem wrong or immoral to some people. But I'm not with SOLD or any other professional business - just a broke kid trying to enjoy his favorite show before the OBC leaves. I'm under the impression broadway and art should be affordable and easily accessible - and this is the only way for me to reasonably see this show at this time.
Buddy up. Say your schedule, you wait for another fan and he/she pays your ticket for the wait. Cancellation line is one place that for core fan base, and shall not be touched by ridiculous price.
That broadwayfan2, is the SOLD guy in line. He will defame me, shut me up using every possible means so that people who is behind him don't know that he is a line-sitter. And no one will prevent their planned ticket swap. (Possible to do with premium tickets since it is not enforced though under the new cancellation rules)
But all people before me except 2 wants premium. I was very lucky today.... When I arrived last night, I thought I would not have a chance. Today must be a blessing.
Imagine that. steins got in, EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS A LINE SITTER IN LINE. Vitriol not needed. Although I took a look at your feed and this is possibly the creepiest IG post I've ever seen: https://instagram.com/p/BC8SziaIpaW/
Hope everyone has a good time at the show tonight!
I would SO do this type of offer (for a non-premium ticket part at least) for anyone that would sit in the line starting tomorrow for EITHER of the shows this Saturday!! PM me if you are interested....
UPDATE: To sweeten the deal for someone: I have just booked a room at the Marriott Marquis. So, you will have a place to use the restroom and even shower at some point before the show
