Well, I'm sure that I spend more time than most people, but it's not as much as it appears. Right now, I'm only keeping an eye on dates between now and September, and I can go through every date in yellow or green in less than 10 minutes, on my phone. If I do that 3 or 4 times a day, it's only around 30-40 minutes.

And even that is only until Ticketmaster blocks you for 24 hours...
Has anyone had really weird issues with the system these past few days? It happened to me like 10 times when I click a performance and it says there are tickets available at all price points. I click one of the options it loads, then tells me there aren’t any tickets. Then I try to do the pick your price and it shows up again thag all price points are available. I click each price point and then it keeps telling me error, and then finally it tells me again tickets aren’t available. After I press each price, and it tells me no more available, it disseapears as an option. It’s reallt weird and disappointing cuz I keep getting excited thinking the cheaper options are available.

Yes, that happened to me on Wednesday. Initially, I thought it was part of a ticket release, but I'm pretty sure it was just a glitch in the system. Actually, it just happened again for some dates.
Really annoyed with whatever glitch is happening on their website right now. It keeps making every price point LOOK available for multiple performances, but then saying there are no more tickets when I click through. Talk about a letdown.

Same thing just happened to me. My heart started racing when I thought $80/part tickets were actually available...what a let down!

I think the glitch is it is factoring in accessible seating, but if you don't select accessible seating, no non-accessible seating is actually available? When I was looking on a date like that the other day, as soon as I selected accessible, it offered me those seats (which I didn't buy, as this was just an experiment)

That's not the glitch. The glitch is literally them showing all the price points as available. It even showed March 16/17 as available for purchase when it's not.

Ah, new glitch then. Sorry. "
Heh. No problem. I might I've never clicked on anything so fast before when I saw that first preview wasn't red anymore and then this was shown:
All of the above glitches happened to me the past 2 nights and I kept changing web browsers. So frustrating. I would refresh their calder and it would turn green and I would get excited, then 2 minutes later turn yellow and red. UGH! Telling me there were seats available..then nothing. Then saying I am clicking too fast??? Took forever. I was hoping they would switch over to the pick your own seat map on ticketmaster.com....but I am doubting that now. They seem to have the control and power!!
I did finally get $40 on Row Y of the Orchestra for 6/6/18. $102 with fees. So I can't complain. I bought the $199 during the "Pre Sale" for 2/19. So happy to go for this price and sit in the back.
Thank you for tirelessly posting about the various tickets you've seen! I actually grabbed that last one! Now to snag one more single somewhere and see if my husband will accept the both of us seeing it on different dates. (He is of the "we must see this together" mindset, whereas I am "I'm not going to speak with you during the performance. I couldn't care less if you're seeing it with me."
Also, if anyone is looking for singles at any time, Dec-March have almost all dates in green.
I have Dress Circle row A seats 9 and 11, at the $199 price - got them back in October during their batch of ticket sales. Looking at other people's seat locations versus the price paid, and the dates they purchased them, I can't get over how crazy this all is. People who paid the same price as me are sitting in great orchestra seats, or, the complete opposite - all the way in the rear on the sides...I just don't get it.

I was talking about this subject yesterday with a friend, specifically, how dress circle center row L is $155-$165 per part, while my seat in dress circle center row M is only $40 per part. While this particular discrepancy is drastic ($230-$250 total for both parts), this situation is hardly exclusive to HARRY POTTER. Broadway pricing that's all over the place is the nature of the beast.
WWYD? (I'm obsessing over this WAY too much, but it's just so much $$)
4/4 Dress Circle Left row D 2-4 (on inner aisle)
4/25 Orch Q 22-24 (I think this is about 6 seats in from the outer aisle)
Flights and hotel prices are similar. Kid would have to miss school for the 4/25 show, but she goes to an arts school so I can get it excused. 4/4 is during previews, 4/25 is the first show after opening night. I am short (5'2" and kid is 9, so my main concern is which seats would be a better view. I typically prefer orchestra, but if it's not a huge theater I know mezz can be better for shorties. Any thoughts?
