A limited engagement of Elf The Musical is headed to Broadway this holiday season! Starring Grey Henson in the title role, the musical will open this November at the Marquis Theatre. Following two hugely successful, record-breaking seasons in London’s West End in 2022 and 2023, this production of Elf The Musical will be new to Broadway and will mark the musical’s return for the first time in over a decade.
It's a bit odd for the tour to be playing in Red Bank, NJ the week of Nov. 19. Not sure if the tour is equity or non-equity. Tour tickets are usually much cheaper.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

It's non-Equity. Still weird they're allowing the productions to overlap
How similar is this UK version to the Casey N stagings previously seen on Broadway?
NGL, it’s nice to see Matthew Sklar back on Broadway after his surprisingly good score for The Prom. I’d love to see him conduct his Elf score… or sub on Sunset Boulevard!

Mackenzie Kurtz as Jovie would be pretty perfect casting.

Austin must need a paycheck. It's such a small role.

Samantha Pauley said she was in final callbacks for Jovie but didn’t get it. She played Jovie in a big Chicago production a few years back.

Oh that's disappointing because she was lovely in that production

Maybe he needs to pay off his Master's Degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University, which he completed earlier this year. I heard him speak very passionately at a Kamala Harris event and he's an incredibly articulate and interesting public speaker.

I've had a crush on Sean Astin for most of my life. From Mikey in Goonies (which was age appropriate at the time as I was 11) to Bob on Stranger Things, my affection has grown along with his waist size (and mine). This might actually get me to buy a ticket.
