She's not one of the children, but she's certainly the youngest adult (aside from maybe Rapunzel).
That's why I like her awkwardness in the scene before No One Is Alone.
She's not sure what she is at that point, but her maternal instincts take over. She goes from youthful ingenue to "Mom" in an instant.
EDIT: I also love the ending, where Cinderella essentially takes on the mother role of this new family unit. She is not a love interest for the Baker, but she becomes a mother to his baby anyway. This to me, is such a wonderful representation of a modern family in today's world. They are a family (the Baker, Cinderella, Jack, Little Red, and the baby) because they choose to be together, not because they have to be. It's an "unconventional" assembly, which is exactly what I love about it.
