YES!!!!!!!!!
There is a Lord!
Hooray for Her!
I love her.
We're lovers.
And...now we have a chotchkie!
G-d DOES love Broadway!!!
I saw Julie, she was AWESOME!
Brava!
Woo!
How sad is it that I actually screamed, laughed, and clapped when they announced her name? She gave the best speech so far, what a great woman!
Congratulations to Julie White! Her hometown of Austin, Texas is proud of her win!!! Yay!! from RC in Austin, Texas
Just curious... Is she always that...loud?
Just when I was completely losing faith in the voters, this happens.
My faith's not restored just yet. But damn, this is a good sign.
GO JULIE!
Who cares? I can tell you for sure she is always THAT fabulous and that's all that matters.
Now that she won I'm kind of set for the disappointments that are going to follow. COGNRATULATIONS!!
Julie White wins for the cutest most entertaining speech of the night. Closely following is Mary Louise Wilson.

She deserved the award, and I am thrilled she got it.
Why is this show not still on Broadway?!?! I've seen about 10 minutes total of it... quite possibly the best 10 minutes of my year. Except for the few minutes we got to see her tonight. My gosh... that woman... I'm totally going fan-girly over her.
OMG!!!! I loved her speech hands down amazing.
"You Tony voters, what a bunch of wacky, crazy kids!"
YAY! I loves her more than words can say!
brdwaybaby17, a few reasons:
*They opened too early in the season for a play to make it to the end.
*The theatre they were stuck with was a barn. WAY too big for that play. Not to mention that it's in the most out of the way/out of view location of any Broadway theatre.
*It was a tough play to market. Hell, any commercial production of a play is tough to market without award wins to shove in people's faces.
I say... the reopen and just have those billboards with videos on them all over the country with Julie White... doing anything, I don't care, she'd do it well. Smash hit, guaranteed!
(The reason I don't work in publicity ladies and gentlemen)
I am so happy. Yay for the underdog.
