John Goodman is brilliant and his singing is FANTASTIC, but I don't know if it's suited for La Cage. It's really soulful and bluesy.
Here he is in BIG RIVER singing "Guv'ment"

BRILLIANT. Just don't see him as Georges.
Victor Garber is the best idea I've heard.

Would Garber be willing to do a replacement gig? Just curious.
Mike Rowe would be awesome, but shouldn't age relevant to Harvey be a consideration?

And maybe they can bring in Billy Crystal to replace Harvey?

If he's THAT excited, it's got to be Mike Rowe.

Posted: 2/28/11 at 3:43pmNo idea if he can sing, but what about Dave Foley (of Newsradio and Kids in the Hall)? I think he'd be perfect. When he was much younger, I thought he would have been a PERFECT J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business...

Harvey's new Tweet:
They've made an offer to one of my favorite people to come join me in LA CAGE. I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to tell the world.

Dick Latessa?
If Robin Williams wasn't doing Bengal Tiger I would suggest him -- I think he would be brilliant (he was fantastic in The Birdcage)
