Wow.
Anyone know the real story?
I'm certainly not buying it.
I'm shocked by this news, especially after they made new windowcards and had photos taken for a new souvenir program. I saw his first performance with Harvey and did see him carry on a sheet of paper several times he discreetly used to prompt his lines.
I wonder who will replace him?
Wow. I wonder if his understudy will permanently take over or if they'll find a bigger name as a replacement.
What's Hal Holbrook doing?

So he was in the show for less than 2 weeks?
Won't this cause problems since he is billed above the title with Harvey? I wonder how people will react when they go to the show expecting to see Jeffrey but find someone else in the role.
I hope he is ok I wonder why he really had to withdraw from the show
Whatever the reason I hope Jeffrey is okay. I'm sad that I will not get to see him perform, and hopefully if they do re-cast it is with someone sufficient.
No offense to Tambor, but I highly doubt people will be lining up for refunds.
Just bring Kelsey back.
I'm sure if he was still struggling with the hip thing that he would have noticed in rehearsals...
Sounds like his experience wasn't good for him or the audience. I hope La Cage can get a new Georges who will be a stellar match for Harvey's Albin.
I hear Charlie Sheen is now begging for the part.
A Charlie Sheen/Mel Gibson LA CAGE sounds divine.
Beat me to it Diva!
Incredibly suspicious. I hope it's not mercury poisoning.

I'd like to see Victor Garber play the part.
Brilliant solution, Josh.
And Garber will have the role down pat in no time.
