Definitely making a return trip to the Sondheim to see her. Maybe she can join in some of the hoofing, too.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

While sad that I will most likely not get a chance to see Jessica Walter, Kelly Bishop is pretty much an equal replacement in terms of people I love seeing onstage. While too young to have seen her as Sheila I adore the clips of her performance that are out there and have always been most drawn to her on the recording.
OMG I am super, super excited for this! Will definitely make a return trip to see it once she joins- I absolutely love her! And to see her dance at the finale....yay! This Sheila fan is ecstatic.
"Years from now, when you talk about this - And you will - Be kind. "
Dang. I won't get to see Lucille Bluth! Given the response of the other posters here, I won't fret too much about this news.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
^^That's exactly what I think. I love Anything Goes and Blow Gabriel Blow and was thinking about going back to give it a second chance and this just pushed me over the edge so now I have to go back.
Beyond excited for this! One of my favourite actresses joining a show I was already dying to see on my New York trip in late August. As a huge Gilmore Girls and ACL fan, this is music to my ears...I just hope Laura Osnes will still be with the show by the time late August rolls around.
Give me a bottle of bourbon and half a chicken and I'll conquer the world!
