I was surfing around and looked at IBDB. I didn't realize they had the replacements up already. They have all of Julie's dates including when Lea Michele comes on board. And Lea and Tovah there as replacements from their starting date.
I hadn't checked before has that been on the site before today?
Out of curiosity is the show sold out tonight and if not how much availability is there? (I can’t see the seating chart on mobile only). Curious if Beanie has fans who want to see her off.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Not even close to sold out. Plenty of availability. Up on TKTS today
I need the next season of Ryan Murphy’s FEUD to be about Lainie and Barbra’s relationship in Funny Girl with Lea playing Barbra and Beanie playing Lainie.

That's not the case. Plenty of seats available-around 60% sold from a quick view of the seating chart for today's mat. I wonder if Ben Platt will finally see his BFF. I wonder why he hasn't seen it yet...is Beanie Flopstein embarrassed by her performance and told him not to come?

I’m curious if the creatives are attending today to normalize this exit. The final five performances landing on TDF surprised me, as did the TKTS availability; it’s still up,

Jane’s final performance is September 4. She will play Mrs. Brice opposite Julie Benko for the entire month of August. Only Beanie bumped up her final performance to July 31.

The filled seats are likely her fans or vacationers with time constraints who couldn't change their tickets. Can't see anyone rushing to buy tickets to see someone who was fired for not being up to snuff.
They still have Ephie and Julie had COVID pretty recently, so that *probably* protects her for the time being and takes out the biggest reason for missed shows. It's only 4 weeks, so I could see them just playing it risky with only 1 potential Fanny cover instead of training and paying a new person.

Ephie, I would imagine. Not necessarily as standby, but same as now - understudy since she is in the show as Emma and Mrs. Nadler. She took over when both Beanie and Julie were out sick.
RippedMan said: "I don't think Benko is being replaced. She's still the standby just has one guaranteed performance a week. And then stands by for Lea."
They're talking about when Benko is the lead for all performances through the month of August.
I'm glad the cast and some of the crew as well as the audience gave her a loving send off at her final curtain call. This definitely wasn't her role from what I saw at the preview I attended and it sounds like things were handled poorly as that became increasingly apparent, but she clearly was loved by many of the cast and crew and at the end of the day, being a good person and co-worker matter more. Best wishes to her.

Ephie will be the Fanny understudy. She plays Emma and Mrs. Nadler in the show already. Julie never played any other role in the show which is why she was she was the only standby to Beanie. Don’t know who’s 2nd understudy who would play Fanny if Emma can’t.
I was incredibly moved by that curtain call video, and the kindness shown to someone who's been through the wringer lately. Watching her reaction to Peter Francis James' compliments, all I could see was someone who didn't think she deserved them, and that broke my heart. At this point, how she got the role and what I thought of her performance are irrelevant, and I'm just hoping she bounces back from this, because I'm sure it took an emotional toll on her.
